Is it just me or is this plugin buggy? I have to restart ACT fairly frequently when triggers stop making sounds. I'm on windows 8.1 x64 with a sound blaster Z, main system audio output set to SPDIF and ACT set to Speakers. I'm using the provided slimDX libraries, newer versions didn't work.
Hmm, I use it every day on a Windows 7 machine. I only do short tests on Windows 8... so I can't say whether or not I would have run into it.
This may be an alternative you can try:
It uses a different sound engine, so it may work differently/better for you.
I am trying to install this plugin into ACT, but I get an error message,as seen below. I have installed the SlimDX libraries.
Nevermind, I just had to reboot my computer. The instructions of a guide I read didn't mention that.
