I have written a plugin for The Secret World (TSW). It is based on the Rift plugin, so thanks to Creub and Altuslumen for their work. The plugin is available on the ACT Downloads page.
Currently the plugin captures:
You can turn on combat logging in TSW with the following chat command:
- damage (including crits, evades, glances, blocks and penetrates)
- evades (i.e. misses)
The parser supports the English, German and French TSW clients.Code:/logcombat on
Let me know if you have any issues.
Please don't use the plugin attached to this post. Use the one on the main download page

Thanks. Seems to be working fine.
I'm seeing "ERROR" in the fields for:
I'll have to double check but I think the TSWplugin.dll from "Martohtar" did record those stats.
Yeah, looking at Martohtar's plugin, it does have some data for the above statistics. Not sure how accurate it is, but there is data in the fields.
Not surprised you are getting errors in those columns, as I didn't have support for them in my plugin. I assume you are getting the column definitions from some other ACT plugin installed. Here is a newer plugin version that has support for those columns at the player summary level. I have manually checked the values on a few fights and they seem ok. If you have any problems then please tell me which other ACT plugins you have installed so I can try to reproduce the issue.
If you re-add those lines, you might have fewer users trying to use columns you don't populate.Code:ActGlobals.oFormActMain.ValidateLists(); ActGlobals.oFormActMain.ValidateTableSetup();
Using act - GuildARGO.com for the secret world. Having a problem with the export html function.
'Unable to cast object of type 'Advanced_Combat_Tracker.MasterSwing' to type 'TSWParser.TSWCombatAction.'
When unchecking the Attack Type and Damage type sub columns, only then will it export. I know this isn't the technical forum, but here you go.
Legaspar, that looks like Martohtar's plugin, same file name, size and modified date.
Been using Boorish's plugin and haven't really seen any issues.
I did see a post on the official TSW forums about ACT settings that should be changed:
I haven't made the above changes yet, would it be advised to do so?I've played a bit with the settings and I think I've got it, here are the important settings:
- Options > Miscellaneous > Populate an 'All' encounter which includes all data from separate encounters within a zone NOT CHECKED
- Options > Main Table/Encounters > General > Number of seconds to wait after the last combat action to begin a new encounter CHECKED + NUMBER OF SECONDS OF DOWNTIME BEFORE ENCOUNTER IS CONSIDERED ENDED
- Options > Data Correction > Miscellaneous > Default character name if not defined by the log file name Enter your character name to avoid having "YOU" in the display
You only really need the 2nd of the option changes, but yes, if you want to see a per-encounter breakdown of statistics, you'll want to set that option. Otherwise, you'll either have to take action to manually break up the action into encounters or you'll just get one big chunk of data for all encounters.
You can make the first change listed if you don't want to have an entry which represents all data for all encounters since you started - I didn't bother changing this, as I don't think there are any negative effects of letting it create the All entry.
The last entry only makes a difference if you're offline parsing, from my understanding. It basically just converts the "YOU" entries to be named with the character name you define in the text field. Mostly just a display thing, I think.
Full disclaimer - I'm a newb to ACT, and the above info was gathered via trial and error. :-)
FYI - the parser is currently considering Thor's Hammer to be it's own player. Basically it sees the line:
It records this as a new player named Your Thor, and does not include it in your ability roll-up.Code:[11:34:13] (Critical) Your Thor's Hammer hits (Normal) Practice Demon for 3592 magical damage. (Normal)
Also still getting the ERROR text in the aforementioned tables columns.
Any concerns about this plug-in working in 1.1? I haven't noticed anything glaring yet.
EDIT: Looks like Marohtar's plug-in did not have this issue. Additionally, your plug-in will not like me rename my character from YOU to the actual name, despite having the setting be correct, whereas Martohtar's works correctly.

Hey thats my quote lol! As Uendilor has mentioned, only the 2nd point is necessary, the rest are my prefs.
Martohtar to get his source, but no response so far. Boorish, thanks for providing yours! If I have some time, I'll take a stab at it and post here.
