    Hi there,

I'm thrilled that you're working on this plugin, since ACT is my favourite parse tool and I love FFXIV.

However, I can't get the plugin to parse. I installed it, I enabled it, it has a valid memory offset, but all chatlog shows up in the error and bad log section and nothing shows up in the main parse window. Can anyone help what I'm doing wrong?

There should be a 'copy all to clipboard' button next to the bad log section. Could you click that and send me a few of those lines in a private message? It might help track down where the error is occurring.

Thanks to Lestarion, I confirmed that there's a bug with the plugin related to non-US region date formatting. The date in FFXIV logs is stored as the number of seconds from 1970. So, I use date-parsing routines to convert it to a human-readable date so you can view it within ACT/etc. Unfortunately, there's a discrepancy between the formatting code and some parsing code that cause this error. I've fixed it in a test build, so I'll try to get that out in the next day or two.

In the meantime, you could try changing your PC region to USA, that might resolve it temporarily.

Here is version 1.0.1.6 of the FFXIV plugin.

    Minor changes only, this time:
    • date/time region fix, for non-us region. It's not ideal, but it seems to work.
    • Fixed some procs. The following are configured so they should be tracked properly:
      Life Surge
      Bloodbath
      Vengeance
      Radiant Shield
I haven't done a lot of testing on these, though.
    • Fixed a performance bug with how combat data was sent to ACT. This should speed things up when loading from files.

I'm currently looking for the DoT damage amount information real-time from FFXIV memory, since it is not included in the logs. This is going to take some time, and will only be enabled when direct-memory reading is enabled. I've already found current HP/MP/TP/Status effects of PC & NPCs within the visible region, which will help with detecting when a DoT (excluding ground effects) ticks on a mob. I'm also working on including more details about buffs from the combat logs in the ACT encounter area. At a minimum, this would provide some information about buff usage and debuffs received.
