Also, add to the fact that our offensive buff Shroud of Kunark is worse than our t7 buff. Haste is the most important part of that buff and we get 2% less haste from the t8 version. Fucked up.

Does anyone even fucking care about rangers?

its only less haste if you go from master to new AD3, % based spells just scale weird. which is why I think focus aim skipped out this tier with it being a master 2 in T7 the master 1 was such an insignificant upgrade they pulled it.
Master to master shroud is an upgrade tho.

The Master 1 Version of Shroud of Kunark is actually 2% more haste than the T7 Master 1. The Adept 3 Shroud of Kunark however is 2% less than the T7 Master 1.

+11 or so agi, and no increase in in-combat move speed, both are 8% at T7 M1 and T8 M1.

Just thought I would clarify.

I'll have to check the two that are on the broker here but I could have sworn the T8 master was 4% more haste. As for the adept 3, from what I recall of all previous level expansions our self buff adept 3 has always been worse then the prior tier master.

Still no official reply as of yet, but I am working on trying to get someone to at least acknowledge us, please don't stop posting and if you aren't banned from the official servers, please light this same post up over there.

Great, so assuming that post reflects that they only recently came to recognize rangers as having legitimate issues, we can expect to see something done in LU43 in 2+ months. If, highly optimistically, they've recognized the problem for some time now, something might be done in 1+ month in LU42. Either way, it's completely unacceptable that it's taking so long for something to happen, given that the incipient problems with the ranger class began to emerge (and were pointed out to the devs) even before RoK beta and became blindingly obvious in beta. But I guess late is better than never?

I'm also concerned with the (probably intentional) vagueness of Fyreflyte's post. What exactly is the 'issue on the radar'? Obviously given that they've probably only recently come to recognize it one could not expect them to state their intended solution, but they haven't even really stated the problem as they recognize it. Please clarify. What I'm worried is that the only thing they're going to recognize and address is the arrow penalty issue, which is the single most obviously broken thing about rangers right now, but is far from the only problem with the class. Furthermore, I'm concerned that their solution to this problem is going to be something like making T8 crafted arrows level 80 and not implementing some way of getting an unlimited supply of high-quality level 80 arrows (i.e. arrow-summoning item), thus forcing rangers to spend massive amounts of money over any other class just to be able to get full damage efficiency from their primary weapon. Such a solution would be extremely lame, but it strikes me as a distinct possibility. Don't go this route, Sony. Rangers need some way of getting an unlimited supply of arrows that give them full damage efficiency and are better than crafted arrows. Also, address more then just the arrow issue, as fixing that alone would be insufficient.

They have acknowledged it publicly, hopefully that means we will get some kind of fix, and at least now they have acknowledged it. This is progress that so far has been unheralded. Thank you to all of you who posted here and on the official forums. Do not think that this is over, keep posting, keep asking, keep fighting. Fyreflyte was not the only dev Contacted. Domino knows as well and I am talking to her about the crafting aspect and arrows due to the unlikeliness of T9 summoned arrows and the fact that another high-end raiding bow would only benefit a few of us and that doesn't address the real issue. They acknowledged the whole post, hopefully that means they're looking at all of it.
