Search my posts, I had it working great with regex in ACT and posted the exact commands. I tried the plug-in, but didn't like it as much. It really helped me and my rhythm to have it saying quietly "hit" or "miss". If I heard miss too often, I would check debuffs or switch arrows.

I also had an ACT command to tell me when my poison ran out.. lazy, yeah I know

You know, I really don't understand this. It's a severe crutch in my eyes. I have been playing with a 9.0 delay bow for so long now that I just have a "feel" for when the next auto attack is going to come, and I know when I'm stretching my timers or when I'm waiting too long in between shots and hurting my parse...

Am I the only one? I don't need some program beeping at me and sitting at the desk like pavlov's dog waiting to click a button...

I understand if it helps your dps in the short term, and to get used to the timings if maybe you don't play a ranger all the time and aren't in synch with the rhythm of fighting and ranged arts, but I just can't see it all the time.

Anyone else?

I used it the entire time I was in SM. Prior to this however I was ok without it. I had ACT open all of the time and so it didn't hurt anything.

Before I never had it chime when I missed, so I had to know when exactly that happened in order to not screw my dps. So it wasn't a sure fire thing then.

I, however, don't really see an issue using it. It's there, you can use it, why not? To feel uber leet? Congrats, you're uber leet, I'll take my chimes heh.

I _really_ don't see an issue with using it, I just think it's a crutch of sorts...

I never needed it to parse high, I've never even used it... definitely not required to do well.

You have seen me parse Dantel, you know I'm not just spouting inane BS.

It's like if you've been driving for a while using maps and someone says: Why don't you get a GPS? Does it make things easier? Maybe. Is it required to get there in time? Nope.
