Bah, I had a huge debate with my best friend today. We've been playing and quitting together since game release. Since release of the epics I am more inclined to just give it all up. For two hours we chatted online about why I shouldn't quit. Why I shouldn't give up on the devs and how broken our class is.

I'll sign on for a raid but then 5-10 min before raid starts I start remembering that no matter where I'm placed I'm already handicapped. He tried to convince me that if it wasn't us rangers it would be someone else.... but is this true? It seems SOE has finally picked a class to lay waste too. Anyway he convinced me to stick around for a few more weeks, but only b/c he doesn't want to give up yet and playing together makes it more fun for him....

Oh by the way....his class?..... Assassin..... figures right?

I`ve been sitting on my nuts since what Thursday waiting for a god damn fix to CoI. They cant fix that shit but they sure as fuck can nerf our epic...already????? well hope you guys who COULD finish at least got a few days of enjoyment...fucking GG SoE GG.

It's not even the nerf that bothers me (Ranger so long I'm numb to that). It's the fact it's fucking spat out 1 day after discovery and the pre-requisite quest is still broken and some poor fuckers still can't progress it. Add to that mechanics broken for months and, well, ffs.

Another point of bleeding irony is that it adds normalized damage based on strength. If you're not raiding in RoK, some of the signature items lack... strength. It's a standing joke now.

I have basically all the best gear currently known excluding the mythical epic (inc soon) and the VP set BP, and I'm forced to wear 3 pieces with no str.

This is an absolute slap in the face to all the rangers who were happy just for a day over getting an useful item with minimal drawbacks. The ammo issues were for a short period put on the back burner and rangers world wide thought of the infinate possibilitys of unloading a PB snipers. Not even the fact that the group version will still get out parsed by a rigid scale bow but it gave non raiding rangers a honest to god 9 second delay nice damage spread high end bow that they all deserve. 48 hours later they take what was one of the best "features" of the bow and blast it back to the stone age. I mean seriously what the fuck.

This also fubars the other incredible damage boost as unless you are jousting in to time your auto attacks to get under 5m you will be fucked out of some 20% damage bonus as most ranged CA i believe have a 2-5 meter hit box depending on the art... I cant really be sure on this as the servers are down and im just seething at this fact right now.
