Default Parsing the Wall

I'm taking this wonderful Idea from the official forums, the original idea was posted by Effidian.

"I'm sure I've get plenty of room for improving my play with the Ranger. One way to do that is to see parses from other Rangers, so I can see what they do and improve that way. Unfortunately, it is a bit difficult to compare parses because of raid setup. So, I've come up with a way that we can compare parses. Hopefully, to use them to improve.
The "training wall" in Kunzar Jungle will be the focus of our testing. So, here is how this works. "
  1. Run ACT.
  2. Don't be grouped with anyone, this is a solo test only.
  3. Go to the training wall in Kunzar Jungle (near the Tabernacle of Pain, loc -120, -60, 127).
  4. Jot down all your stats, str, dps, crit, da, etc (see below).
  5. Kill the wall 10 times. Make the time between kills as short as possible (but don't run out of power). Don't wait 15 minutes between each kill so you can start with Sniper each time or even 5 minutes to get Killing Instinct up each time. Just wait a few seconds to get some power back and then kill it again. (My test took 13 minutes for all 10.)
  6. Go to ACT and select your outgoing damage for "All" 10 kills and take a screenshot. If you had other kills during the time you were in the Jungle, you'll need to merge the 10 wall kills so you can exclude the others (or click "Clear Encounters" before you start).
  7. Post your results in this thread.
He has his stats listed, any special buffs like crit potions temp dps adornments listed ect would be great lets help each other out.....

You'd be better off maxing everything than telling everyone to do this without buffs.

This test is only worth it if all the variables are the same or similar. You'll see bigger differences in self buffs than if everything were the same.

The Point is to give some of us undergeared rangers something to shoot at almost a benchmark.

I'm all for making yourself better. But I figured if you wanted an honest example of the best you could do, then you'd want max buffs, stats, etc.

Actually, I'd have thought a good idea would be to do it a few of times - once solo with the best gear etc you have, then again with your regular raid group, and again with your optimal raid group. That way you'd get a better insight into just how much of an impact certain class buffs have on your performance.

I am way under geared but this would give me an idea how far behind my parse is and the original post said to do it 10 times.......doing it with a raid grps since some buffs are raid wide wouldn't you need to have the whole raid there? Secondly, a scientific experiment requires the least ammount of variables....the ranger himself and what he has available to him. Then we would analyze his toon makeup, gear/stats/potions to see if we can best that ranger's top parse or to give the ranger community an idea what we could be parsing...

Well anyways no one's doing we are just debating on how it should be done guess i'll have to troll the eq2players ranger board to actually see some parses

How would you propose getting a raid worth of people to goto KJ at a little wall in order for their ranger to kill it a few times and see how high he parses....
