as I'm chasing to get the Maestro's Flame some time, I've got questions hopefully you can provide answers to:

• where exactly is that mob located on the upper floor of Castle Mistmoore?
• is he on a respawn timer or has a PH or just sheer luck to get him?

Follow up question since I know Pinski is a much better number cruncher then me.

Maestro's Flames 60 CA damage proc or Croaking Dirks 10% poison damage increase in off hand?

Primary hand weapon being the limp dick avatar shank. The shank having the +5% to poison proc chance. I haven't run any numbers but I know I'm having to redo my poisons alot more often since I got it.

Poisons accounted for 10% average of our damage. 10% increase on 10% damage = 1% damage increase.

Maestro > all.

Depending on your typical raid numbers, SoD > that dirk heh.

Like I said I haven't ran number on my own yet. But I did just go look at the combined parse Miller posted of him solo'ing that wall in KJ. The DPS numbers don't support your assumptions.

Caustic did 313.06 DPS
Firesong did 35.95 DPS

Assuming he did not swap weapons at all during the fights to equip the Dirk using it would give 31.3 DPS (313.06 x 10%). Factor in that he was solo vs the additional buffs received in a raid and the number should increase.

Firesong is a 100% proc rate so on a raid it's impact will only change slightly in relation to overall raid DPS and debuffs causing it to hit for more. On the other hand Caustic will get those same benefits plus the additional possible benefits from a class or classes that increase it's chance to proc.

Obviously this is a small sample and more testing would be required. But just eyeballing it I think with the extra 5% in proc chance I get from the shank added to the extra proc chance I get from LotD or Blessings would make the Dirk the better choice for me.

I found it depends on your grp man, with my trigger rate jacked seb dagger did like 1.1 percent, maestros does like 1 solid i think maybe a lil more consistantly so overall i think maestros is better.
