On the rare occasions you find me in an instance, I'm pretty lazy and barely cast any CA's at all!

I am right, though, that our Ranged CAs should still be our bread and butter CAs? Melee CAs only when our timers are down on our big hit ranged?

On raids your gunna use pretty much everything. Obviously start out with bloody reminder to get that ticking, have nox venom on be4 the pull.
A lot of people have sent me tells asking for my casting order, which I never really have time for when I'm in game, so here you go:
nox venom(pre pull)-hawk-auto-HO(bloody)-auto-focus-ranged chain(based on dps priority, so blame, rain, triple 1st. Obviously grped not to waste auto atks)-normally tack a stealth fire onto the very end of focus to extend it a second-backstabs-melee fillers/snaring-repeat as shit refrshes.
On pull I normally cast my hawk auto atk use my HO macro (includes bloody reminder), then hit focus and roll out my ranged chain, and then switch to melee shit. Normally backstabs 1st (kunark or combustion), then the melee filler shit (tear/bolt/lunge). Also, I'm not above useing point blank, I actually use it a lot as a quick end filler to switch back to ranged auto. Obviously any refreshing higher dps ranged CA's should be thrown in as they refresh from your beginning ranged chain. I use snaring shot a ton as an end filler as well. My hotbars are pretty much set up by casting priority. If something of a higher priority refreshes, I make sure to get it in asap. I don't bother having cast couples on my hotbars because that changes throughout a fight and I know the CA's that couple well together already.
Hopefully thats helpful to some people. If anyone wants to see some of my parse breakdowns post a zone and I'll post one of my parses for that zone.
