inbalance? Do you mean inbalance like the inbalance of decap vs sniper shot? Or were you talking about how a brig or assasin can keep you locked down for the 4 seconds it takes them to kill you?

overall balance is hardly ever achieved, and beyond that lately it seems like its hardly worked towards either.....

No, i mean the inbalance between apples and pears. *rolleye*

IF you wanna compare assassins and rangers... then not only compare one part of them... an assassin might say... hey, you do up to 15k autoattacks, how does that compare to mine? Assassins are more CA heavy while rangers are autoattack heavy.

P.S.: And i dont give a fucking shit on pvp or duel balance.

There really isn't a Duel-ballance when it comes to Ranger's, the ring is too small for any real kiting or tactics to take place.

Ranger solo = Ranger kiting, take it away and there's not much we can do. Ranger kiting = win.

Insert some random scrub arguing my point here.

This has nothing to do with the OP, but since the thread is derailed, I will just continue along with it...sorry :P

Do people really have problems dueling? With a Ranger? I don't get that at all. Even before I had my mythical I had no problem with most people, and even the ones I considered tough were beatable the vast majority of the time. In fact, I typically don't use stun poisons (I have both types available) or any of my stun proc gear for dueling because it makes it entirely too boring. I don't mind losing occasionally.

Imo, healers pre RoK were the toughest (if you did not use stun poisons), since they mitigate so much damage and heal at PvE levels (plus poisons function and PvP (read nerfed) levels).

I am going to go out on a limb here, and I am not saying this to be offensive, but I think that most Rangers just are not that good at dueling. You always hear of X Ranger saying they own at dueling, but for the most part, you usually hear Ranger bashing when it comes to dueling...often from Rangers themselves. I am not trying to say I am a God at dueling or anything, but I have been the best in my guild for years now, and duel people outside my guild here and there, though I have not seen a good QH duel session in sometime now.

Anyways, until enough people of various classes beat me more than I can them, I will stick to Rangers are perfectly fine at dueling, probably even OP. (and absolutely OP with stun poisons/gear factored in)
