I don't think I will be raiding anytime soon, and I'm not geared for it anyway.

At level 72, would you buy MC melodic (it's actually pretty cheap these days)? Build enough faction in Kunark to buy the Legendary faction stuff? Drop the coin on the lvl 77 MC bow* Group 3-4 days a week in MMC, CM, OOB, Estate, Karnor's etc. to get set gear?

Alright thanks! Will read both T7 and T8. It's been suggested that I park my ass in Mistmoore Catacombs, Castle Mistmoore, and Estate of Unrest until I have my 67/69 set gear.

I wouldn't do that. It is much harder to get groups for those instances now then it was before RoK. There is now better gear off of solo quests then the old T7 legendary stuff. You are much better off going over the T8 link you posted and going off of that.

My 2 cp. If you are not happy with your bow... get a Ghostly Bow of Bylze (and Raincaller for lower level soloing, situational stuff and epic pre-req). Adorn Bylze, and this will do you fine til you get your (group) epic... hahaha... Bylze has the same delay as the so your timing will be perfect by the time you get your hands on the Eagle Talon.

Quest in Kunark any time after 65 as a ranger with this setup. Melodic MC is fine for this purpose. That a very good list, and easy to work on without getting overwhelmed. I use it, with the exception of the pre-epic bow recommendations, as i can't justify spending money on a DPS adorn for any bow in T8 that is not the epic...
