Alright .... as far as rangers go Str, Haste, Dps are kind of hard to work into our gear builds as alot of our gear is kinda missing str entirely and shit like that....

Where are the diminishing returns levels for those three stats?

reason i ask is i have buckler and str crafted ring and it might better me to swap for some crit or DA instead of going 30/60 dps mod over the cap or further into the diminishing returns

and came to the conclusion that 1175-1220 is where you want to be optimally on str... was wondering about the others more though

havent you ever moused over your dps mod? like 200 is 125% which is the max but 130 gets you at about 100%, same with haste. Imo soft cap is around there.

I can mouse over but it just gives the percentile value - was wondering the numberical/stat # value of the cap

I just looted woven shadow chest of Maestro for 50 dkp as no one wanted it and id heard rumours on here of it being good despite just melee crit for the proc. A few raid parses later and yes it procced a lot 4% dps. Wearing it i lose a lot of ranged crit and ranged da from my previous pvp 5 set (7 to each bonus) but am now wearing it with vp relic in other slots. Is this the right choice and why the hell did the swashes etc not bid on it?

If your the only one wearing it in raid, its pretty nice. But I wouldnt wear it if you have several other people in the raid who wear it too. The proc does not stack on the mob so you just end up trading procs with eveyone else.

Can someone do a bit more work on this thread please? I'm thinking about lvling my old main (ranger obviously) up to 80 and having a play with it for a change.

Couple of things that need work:
1) The gear list at the start is all over the place. Any chance of listing it by slot and then quality of the items. See the inq loot sticky for a good example... I'm too lazy to work out for myself whether any given drop would be better than what I already have. If I want a list of the vp set for example i could just go to lootdb :-)
2) wtf bows? Obviously the myth is going to be uber but what about the other bows for ppl still lvling up/working on their myth.... or should i just throw my arrows by hand until i get this toon mythed?

Alternatively - just post me your gear list Joli so I know what I'm aiming for :-P
