Thats not correct at all, its rather

AA Damage = 1.0 x (1+Haste%) x (1+DPS%) x (1+RDA%) x (1 + Crit Mod% x Crit%)

because the Crit Mod% only affects crit hits and not non crit hits.

Nice catch, i actually have this correct for my calculations but somehow i got the {[)()()}} all mixed up here...perhaps why i got a lot of "Partial credit" in my math classes. Way i had it listed here it actually hurt dps to have under ~60% crit. Kudos me!
As far as 1.3xCA damage assumption, I did not do any testing of this per se. Instead, I used some statistics gathered by someone even more socially starved then I.
Now with Weapon DR calculation!: Critical Damage and You.. A guide to critical damage.

I did no tests also but i took it from here - since CAs work same as spells do:
Maximizing DPS as a Raid Wizard - A Guide

Quote:
When a spell crits, it will deal 1.3 times the damage. However, if the lower end of the damage range falls below MaxDmg +1, it will be rounded up to MaxDmg+1, such that the damage range will become: MaxDmg + 1 to MaxDmg * 1.3.

I believe the link i posted tried to show that spells work differently than standard CA's. Spells are essentially meant to be Auto-Attacks for casters and will thusly follow AA crit rules which have the max + 1 to max*1.3 range. CA's should follow a straight Damage*1.3 rule according to my original source.

However, looking at both websites and comparing though, the difference could be in the max/min ratio in combat art damage which effect the crit modifier. 4:5 (min/max) on spells give approx 1.3 x damage and lower ratios gives higher modifiers 3:5 = ~1.37. Since most CA's are running near the 4:5 min/max ratio, he/she may just be assuming it's straight across the board 1.3*damage although it really does follow the max +1 to max*1.3 rule.
It's fun to learn!

Need more math? Here ya go, calculate your autoattack DPS:

DPS = (((Avg * MinMod - Avg * MaxMod) / (STRCap * STRCap) * (STR - STRCap) * (STR - STRCap) + Avg * MaxMod) * (1+DPS%) * (1+Crit-Mod*Crit%) + AmmoMod) * (1+DA%) * (1+Haste%) / Delay * ToHit% * (1+Debuff%)

Avg = (Min + Max) / 2
STRCap = Level * 15 + 20

To get MinMod and MaxMod for a weapon you need /weaponstats with 0 STR and with capped STR and divide the actual damage numbers by the base damage numbers.
For mythical Eagles Talon they are 1,58 and 2,66

CritMod for eagles Talon is 0,77

AmmoMod = the additional damage that arrows give.

ToHit% = avg to hit chance

Debuff% = avg damage increase by mitigation debuffs

CAs do not work the same as Spells for Crits. They are a flat 30% increase when you crit. No more, no less. It doesn't matter if your range is 300-1000, and you hit for 310 pre-crit, you will do 403, not 1001.

Just curious, but why the contrasting mechanics for CA crits vs Spell crits and AA crits?
