Scrub thoughts:

Without avatar loot, seems to me the four set VP bonus (Triple Shot bonuses), should about make up for any extra dps you might get from the 8% spell crit from the soul lancer shoulders.

According to Speedy, he gets 18 dps/RDA, thats 54 dps for the 3 RDA on the set shoulders. But 100 dps for the 8% spell dmg. That leaves a gap of 46 dps.

I don't know what the actual dps gain from the triple shot bonuses is, but it will close that gap some. Plus, you get to keep the 4 best VP set pieces, which means +7 RC or RDA. (RDA would be 98 dps, by Speedy)

This makes me think that VP head, chest, legs, forearms and TSO legendary shoulders, gloves and boots is the best way to go before TSO fabled considerations.

If this is flawed, please flame me with info... Don't want to stay ignorant forever.

I did some more math since my last post, basicly the 8% base ca and spell is hot. And I don't care about the 4 set for vp whatsoever, my hit rate is 100% on that ca most times, and 10% base damage on that ca is very small. Basicly.. 3 set of legendary for the proc, general chain shard shoulders.. vp bracers and bp and legs.

Personally i like the 3/4 combo with the vp chest/legs/helm/bracer and others the new legendary (till new fabled 6 set + 1 random peice... and later add some random loot from avs???).... now i don't want to drop any RC cause of the new bonuses to crit make it nice...

I've noticed this too, is it the deadly lifetap proc (3 set shard armor bonus) that is causing re2 goblin bane stuff to not proc? It's pissing me off, since the rest of the bane procs are working (undead and vampire). That re2 collection charm item will still proc (goblin bane), just none of the 3 set bonus stuff from re2 will (greater goblin bane). Any word if they're fixing this?

I posted on the offical forums about the RE2 set proc not working a few months ago so fyreflyte knows about it.. its fairly low on the list of priorities though. So not any time soon..
