Seriously, I have been playing EQ2 for many years now and I have tried most classes. With the Ranger you can run really really fast if you like, you can stealth, you can track, and you kill things so fast it's crazy...

I.E. at lvl 15 I was in TD and I was doing the Stronger Essence Quest where you need to get the mob below 25% the siphon there life, I had to take off all my jewelry and weapons and hex dolls just so I could auto attack and not kill them in 2 hits... I still had allot of trouble and actually laughed saying I'm getting mad because I am killing them too fast.

I choose run speed first and I'm sure I will respec as I get higher lvl but I think running at 60 % is great for a couple of reasons,

First you can our run PVP if you are out numbered
Second you quest for the Precious AA allot quicker because you get where your going faster
Third you can out run trash mobs and just get where you need to go.

I plan to stay locked and only lvl by PVP kills this way I max all my skills and AA and become wanted for raids in the 80's.

I hear people complain but man I must say this is a fun class just pure DPS and fast action, no need to debuff or buff up just kill em quick!!

I envy you that after many years of playing you still get a kick out of little things like runspeed.

Keep it up man. With that attitude i doubt ull ever find anything to complain about

Honestly I think run speed at lower lvl's make allot of difference as you can get where you need to go very quickly like turning in quests...

I'm sure at the upper lvl's that all changes!
