I have had the Thuuga for a while but got the Signet last night. Thinking Signet, just want to make sure.

If I am currently wearing the Ravager's Voidlink Spaulders and the Banished Sleeves of the Void Captain drop in Palace, which is better? the 8% base CA increase / 3 Ranged DA or 6% Ranged Crit / Greater Void Bane? Or would it really depend on the zone? Guess the question really is, Would it be worth dropping alot of DKP to get it or is it one of those, ehh nice if you can pick them up cheap. Curious cause I seem to see alot of folks talking about the greater void bane gear procs.

If you're in Palace, the GVB can win out if you have enough GVB procs. Otherwise, the 8% is probably just as good.

Dar is usually the better of the 2 since most people are closed to having RC maxed. Both are decent, but Choker ftw.

It's easier to get RDA than it is to get RC. Just grouping with Dirge+Illusionist gives you 45, whereas it only gives you 7.5 RC. Add a troub and you're at 55 RDA and 12.5 RC.

Greater void bane kicks ass in Palace. Keep both as situational gear. As for the RDA/R-crit, it depends on where your hurting. If your RDA is lower than your R-crit then I'd jack that up. I've never had trouble getting my crit up so I like RDA.

This expansion is flooded with RDA, if an illy is in group you get over cap very easily. If you arent well geared yet but are in a raiding guild I would keep a lot of old crit gear.
