Double Attack

So what do you say the the raid leader who insists that because the assassin/rogue has lesser DA they should get IA?

Obviously, epitaphs aside, how do I convince them that:

1. Double attack is not on diminshiing returns
2. IA is a ranger buff

3. Double attack should not be given out to whoever has less of it.

I need some hard evidence on #1 and #2 can probably be proved by math ( i think).

Tell the retard that we build our dps around our auto attack. Auto attack first then fill the caps with CA's. Also tell him with all this aoes that are jousted, while your rogues and assassins are jousted you are still attacking so the IA is never wasted. Give him act comparisons showing our auto attack numbers are a larger % of our dps vs those classes. If that isn't enough call him a cunt lol

Simple does the Assassin AA hit for 16-20k? Nope, so who benefits from it the most? Do you want 16-20k more often or a knife stabbing for a lot less?

I had this argument for a long time and when our raid leader asked around the server they all said the Ranger gets it no matter what.

Now I no longer have that problem, but it is a pain getting them to learn it in the first place.

rangers dont do more autoattack dmg, period... rather the other way round, do the math. only benefit a ranger has, he has no such tiny range on his autoattack and can hit the mob while it moves or he gets kicked or whatever.

This is what I figured. While our auto-attack may be more of our DPS, dual wielding supplies just as much raw damage output.

Question: Does double attack affect the offhand?

I am pretty sure but have to ask: Is double attack on diminishing returns?

IA goes to the better player who isn't capped on DA/RDA. I moved IA from the ranger if I noticed he sucked.
