Galoro you have been one of the worst rangers on this server since launch, i seriously cant believe this far into this game you didnt know poisons procced off ranged ca's and you thought a 57k sniper arrow was something to be proud of?

Every time you post you are digging yourself into a bigger retardation hole. I have yet to meet anyone in this game for the 2+ years ive been playing pvp that has ever mentioned you are anything but a bot ranger.

It amazes me this far into the game people are still as clueless as you, it makes me lose faith in humanity, poor purity.

Anyway if im such a bot ranger why would your beloved leader Boon talk to me for advice when he was bringing his ranger up? Why would I have soloed almost every player of renown on this server including Brokensword and the like (yes of course ive lost to them too..its all situational) Plus although I wouldnt call you "of renown" your forgetting to note I soloed YOU the other day, when you have double the procs of me etc etc etc. Losing to a bot?...shame on you.

What really really bugs me the most is the server somehow respects these exile rangers who ezmoded it to a supposed reputation, through Rigid scale bow or now the harder to get tso set pieces/avatar gear etc. You guys have never proved anything (im talking about the likes of Kryptic and primarily YOU Pudaan) Ill give respect to Kradun as I knew he was actually good. The likes of Vinasaar and even myself wipe the floor with the rest. Of course I die on a pvp server..NEWSFLASH..I dont use the lame tactics of others (stacked grps.....chokers...miracles...in combat evacs....if this makes me a bot ill hold that tag...I still hold the higher ground.

This post almost work except you have been playing ranger for two years and you didnt know poisons procced off ranged CA's

When I first saw this thread I didnt bother to even open it up because I thought it was some retarded 12 year old wondering what would happen if he leveled up a ranger.

Obviously i was right.

Getting better. 12 yr old slightly beats bot. Keep at it you may get there.

On the poisons thing I had studied many logs and couldnt be sure that the poison proc was not from a nearby aa and had assumed it to come from the aa. I still dont think poisons proc that regularly from cas but yes it has been proved they do occaisionally. If they procced very regularly from cas surely this would put the likes of swash at a massive advantage to ranger as they spam far more ca in a set period of time than ranger (linked to cast time for that particular ca). I dont know how the "normalised" nature of procs would treat this..

Anyway, ill let our conflict end here and hopefully we can get back to the game and stop the common insults, you do seem to be getting slightly less antagonistic.

Plus I think you had better go as I think I hear your Mom calling you for your dinner.... from upstairs....

I've not PvPed with Galoro much being new to the guild but when we did he always did what a good ranger does: target the right classes, call out to assist him, and most importantly, he dps's them well.

Despite how normalized, a ranger will probly get more DPS off poison due to 58% spell crit, yo.

It's easy to determine where a particular proc was off, since its always the same logical order of outgoing damage:
- autoattack or initial combat art hit
- procs
- double attack or additional combat art hits

Even the proc order is fix so caustic poison is always at the same position if you have multiple procs going off one hit.

Procs are normalized on base casting time of a combat art or spell. So if you have a swash casting 3 times a .5sec CA its the same like a ranger casting a 2.5sec combat art (recovery time is .5sec for every combat art and counts into the casting time iirc)
And they proc very regulary from CAs!
