Default A couple General Ranger Questions

My little ranger is 24 at the moment and was wondering what some of you guys are doing as far as AA specs. I've talked to a couple friends of mine about what they are doing but I am wondering if others are doing the same. Also, how does your INT stat compare to your STR & AGI?

Do you want to spec for max DPS or max soloability?
And INT with high end gear seems to be a little less than 1/2 of STR OR AGI.

I'm looking for max DPS. Right now his STR & STA is about half his AGI I think. His wis and int is bringing up the rear.

4-4-4-8-2 Agi
4-4-4-8-2 Int
That's the best KoS AA spec for DPS, just put your 2 extra points into whatever else in the line you feel like. As far as EoF AAs go, max out each of the multishot abilities, excluding Stream of Arrows, and get the end line. After that put 5 points into your caustic enhance, then start the Extension line. I went 3 into the def stance upgrade, then went 5 into leg shot, and then went to the upgrades to our dps and haste short term buffs. I really don't like the Focus Aim upgrade, but that's mainly because I'm lazy. Either way, you're going to need to put some points into Focus Aim in order to get the final AA in that line to finish it all off.

EDIT: At 70 my str/sta/agi are all hovering around 500 self buffed, with my int lagging behind at like 250.

Yep, I think every pred has their KOS aa's like that. My double arrow line sounds like yours and prolly my extension line is close to yours but I'm at work and can't remember specifically how many in each one with also 5 in caustic poison.

My stats are a bit lower than yours though, I've only seen one piece of outrider gear and our ranger that got it disappeared.

On low lvls you should focus on your str rather than int. Int comes more or less automaticaly when u reach that (raiding)point where str hits the softcap and u actually start "tuning" your character. A good choice thou are the reverend crafted items which got both str & int or int adornments on some slots.
If u solo much u might not want to lose to much agi/sta. Just remember that the rangers here are mostly hardcore raiders (including myself). So wer all biased!

i agree with shamada b/c on my ranger i solo like crazy and i like m agi to be pretty high. i used to be more str based and getting jumped by 2 was hell for me and getting jumped by one was still hell most the time.
i had to almost always get first shot. being agi sspeced more i am now more versatile and can now take a jump and shrug it off and use my tactics i have developed. also if i get lusky i can take a group of 2 sometimes now that i get hit less. also if u find a big group you may get pwned but will be easy to pull some sneakier tacticts to get away sice it can givee you longer living time in being able to avoid more

What would you recommend for someone that is more solo oriented?
I've just started playing a Ranger, and don't group too often and probably won't Raid much if at all.
Where would my AA points be best spent for survivability?
