Ok, the biggest question I have here, I'm not sure will be easily answered just curious if anyone knew it:

During a raid does the Hawk obsorb aggro from everyone in rangers group? or can it absorb aggro from all groups in respect to the MT.

For example, would it make sense to cast this during the pull while the tank is getting aggro under control.

when the hawk hits a mob it brings up a spell effect window where 15 percent aggro you or your group does (maybe 20 cant remember as im at work) will get passed to the hawk. This last for a few seconds and refreshes when the hawk hits the mob again.

go pull some grey mob with the hawk and watch your spell window.

It only works in the rangers group and only on non fighters as the description says.

Here is what I've discovered as I've been playing with Hawk Dive during raids...

I've found it does help, but it is largely useless. But here is how I've found to make it most effective.

During a raid pull, before the MA calls for the raid to attack his/her target toss the hawk out. This will get it started with its procs to debuff your group. What this actually assists in, is preventing your initial open attack (double ranged with Eagletalon spiking a ton of aggro). This effect appears to be minimal but it does make a difference...

Granted the hawk usually dies right away due to AoE's and such, but to be able to premptively prevent some aggro is never a bad thing.

Try it out.

IMO Slightly better than SoA which does not get a hot bar slot either.
