So from what I read we are losing our Myths (well kinda). Anyways, the blunt of it is looks like we are going back to rare bow drops as our primary weapon while all the other melee classes will be getting the usual frequent melee weapon drops.

Anyone know anything different in regards to the next xpack and bows?

Our mythicals will probably be changed to charm slots or clickies so we will still get the bonus from it, it will make shitty bows not so shitty.

I would prefer to have different end game bows, and not just one end all be all mythical bow. yes i want like pudaan said that in the expansion we keep the abilities of the myth or it counts for something but, I like the feeling of waiting for a chest to pop and being like OH SHIT IS IT GOING TO BE THAT SWEET ASS BOW.

I dont like how the mythical is the first and the easiest of the end game gear, and once you get it you know no matter what nothing better is going to drop. Kind of anti-climactic to me.

I will enjoy going back to the days where every ranger I see is not sporting the same bow (how many folks were running around with the RSB?). The mythical was some-what easy to get, and easy as hell to sell. However, if it plays out like usual, we will prolly be stuck with mostly shitty bow choices, and one uber bow that will rival the mythical by .1%. Then if we complain about it they will nerf the myth to make the new ones seem better.

i better look for a secondary bow then, or else i will have to eighter use raincaller as a main bow or the MC one...... yay.... happy happy joy joy... im definatly looking forward to the new expansion..... NOT!

Yes, because I'm sure the second the expansion comes out the mythical will turn into a charm slot.

I wasnt a huge fan of waiting for bow drops in KoS, it would be nice to see a crafted bow type thing like RSB was.

As long as we keep our 0m auto attack range im a happier camper tho

Unless they make ALL bows 0m Auto Attack range you will have to backup.

From what I have been hearing the Mythical is going to be equippable in the charm slot (so guessing Ranged, Charm as the notation on it). the static effects will remain, but Myths like Inquisitor and those with Clickys will still have to clicky it. and possibly the Procs will become a clicky as well. Still a little fuzzy though and varying opinions.

But I agree with Macgyiver, time to actually grab a raid bow for when that change hits so you can use Myth in the charm slot.

Anyone have a link to that Bow chart that came in real handy until you got your Myth?

I doubt, that mythicals wont be able to be worn in the weapon slots anymore, that making them still the best weapons available pre-SF, once you get new stuff in T9 this might be worth a thought.

Cynical, but honest. As a class, we've always gotten screwed as far as gear goes. Having to put up with gear that was obviously designed for every other class but us. Why put ranged crit and DA on a bunch of items when only one class actually uses these stats? Why make a whole bunch of good bows like they do with melee weapons when only one classes uses them as their main weapon?

Way to segregate your classes, SOE. Then again, at least we have items to support how we do dps. Summoners are still having half their dps ignored by the devs, as far as gear goes.
