i got the 628 recently to try it out, went threw EH and it was 3 percent of my total dps zone wide

best non raid upgrade for a ranger imo

trying to get my hands on the iceforged sai to try it out

The ice forged Sai is a AE, not Lore, and a Dual Wield. I believe having just one was 4-6% of my dps. try not to quote me on that, It was over 6months ago and I was not the person Parsing.

IMO, I would use both though. Use the Sais when clearing trash, as they usually come in groups. then Switch to Killij/628 for named, as the AE portion would have has no benefit.

If you dont need the DPS bonus from Buckler of the Howler their are also those T5 shields with Flame pillar on them. They proc off ranged as well.

Killij is a 1Her so you can't use that and the 628

If it's an AE Encounter go 2xiceforged if you can, on single-target go 628+iceforged, if your DPS in the group you're in sucks, 628+wanning moon cutter, or killij+buckler of the howler. The 628+Wanning Moon cutter is probably better, but it really depends on which you have both of, as the Killij+Buckler is a lot easier to get.

I want confirmation through parses saying that Kilij/Howler is not better than 628/Sai or double sai. I think the kilij/buckler is going to be the better combo, buts that speculation as of now.

I assumed the 628 was a 1hander to the way people seem to talk about it... is it?

if you could really affordthe stat hits their is always the breastplate from meeting of the minds. it procs off ranged to.

Killij hits for less than the 628, so combined with a Saai it will win for sure.

Again, buckler depends on your DPS-mod in the group.

Nm, 628 doesn't like to proc, Killij wins.

I normally run with a dirge/illus

Any info on the best choice?
