Anyone use the 'iceforged Sai' with 628? - Page 2

Alright check this out. You say alone your sai is doing 40k, and your rapier 30k in freethinkers. That is a total of 70k in that zone for the most part minus one fight. I checked my ACT from last night's freethinker run... My power of marr (kilij proc) hit 135 times, critted 84 of those times, and did an overall of 180k dmg throughout the zone. I also had 37% of my dmg attributed to pierce (auto attack). Which is partly the buckler of the howler (and no I dont get IA). In the MMIS run we did last night as well, the kilij procced 297 times, 161 of those being crits, and totaling 395k dmg overall. Also had 35% of my total dmg attributed to pierce (auto attack) which howler helps. So imo Kilij/Howler > all

You know, it's great to see people attempting to compare proc amounts, but did you forget group make-up, how long the raid takes to clear the entire instance? I mean cmon, think about it, those are like the biggest reason why nobody will have the same amount of procs or damage. So if you're going to try to compare procs, look at combat duration and your group.

Of course this is true Pinski, and I am not stating anything that says it isnt. But i did over twice his dmg in procs just from that weapon alone. That means i would have to have double his proc rate, or, the kilij is just better... since i cant have double his proc rate almost anyway u look at it, think about the other option

Ok so you made me look back and turns out i was wrong on the numbers. iceforged = 76k , 628 = 56k (obvisouly still low but if you want to compare the duration on that was 17 mins). The point i was trying to make was that the combo isn`t that bad. The OP wanted to know if anyone used it, just throwing some numbers out there to show that in my time using the combo(before i got my cutlass changed into the kiliji) it was decent. 99% of the time now use my kilij/howler, because you are right it does do more damage. That night i had over 200% dps so i wanted to try something different. Sorry for any confusion.

The kilij out damages both the 628 and iceforged combined. The kilij procs more than intended.. Far more than intended.

628 procs like ass, but it does a fuck ton of damage.
