Been holding off on adorns. I went crazy with them in SF and seemed to get new equipment to adorn every day. Not eager to do that again.
Got DoV fabled jewlery and primary/secondary (no ranged I want adorned yet though)
I do have some equipment that I actually want to adorn now but many of the choices seem equally good.
Those who have adorned .... what are you finding most effective.

In answer to the actual questions posted, it's hard to answer not knowing what your current stats are and what level of content you playing.
I initially swapped my SF red adorns out for crit chance with the exception of my legs and head. From what I understand 150 crit for instances, and 200 for EM raids will ensure 100% crit.
After swapping out weapons from quests, and then one from an instance, as well as a few jewelry slots from instances/raids my crit chance went overboard. I then swapped to multi attack red adorns on my SF armor.
Initially my CB dipped a touch, which I was comfortable with considering the value of consistently critting > a higher bonus when you do.
I'm now sitting on 212 crit, 157 multi, and (at a guess since I am not logged in) approx 120 CB, 90 Potency and 105 DPS mod, which I find convenient in not having to be in a coercer/dirge/quizzy grp to cap dps mod.
From here on out just focusing on procs/multi, if multi is ever cappable through gear I'll use the CB,Potency, and Flurry adorns.
As for new proc adorns I've added Velium Flames I (Only to one weapon) and, much to my delight, it has been parsing 450+ ZW dps.
Hope that helps.
I look forward to hearing other opinions and results.
Yeah Uncle, I also kept the Focus:Hunters Instinct for the 10% health boost as the AEs on raids are pretty brutal atm with the changes to crit mit.
~Cheers
Ok i havent tried either or but doesnt Cerebral Destruction I deal more dmg than Velious Flames?
The weapon adornment from PQ's that procs 40% AE auto is the way to go. It's almost always up, so with Sta line we have close to 70% AE auto attack.

Do. not. waste. red. slots. on. damage. adorns.
The best setup is probably: 12cb proc, 12pot proc, 40% ae auto proc and 30% ma proc. If you don't have the 40% ae proc get the 12% reuse/recovery proc (as a ranger).
Stats > shitty damage procs.
