Me and the ebay crew...Akika, Kuduk and Powdurr

So here I am level 68 and honest to god I'm gonna play this mystic buff-bot I've been dragging all over creation for only the second time as something other than my bot on a spare computer.

PUG announced for Den, which she needed for grizzle's, so my wife and I, on her fury, joined up.

Here are Akika and Kuduk, a zerker and assasin respectively, theres some warlock, and some asshat named powdurr, an inquisitor from Bots who say Kni (or is that knights? can never remember) Anyway....

Turns out the FIRST time I played my little botette, I was with this zerker and assassin...wasn't 5 minutes into the group I knew these guys were ebay'd. Played like total nubs, and the assasin had a GRINNNING DIRK OF HORROR...ok there is no way on God's green earth that this nub actually killed fear in Lyceum for the thing...that was really the final clue.

Turns out these two are r/l friends, and actually very nice fellas, just well, they're playing level 70 toons when they should be leveling up new toons to learn the game....but different strokes etc... what do I care?

Back to the story...

We meet up near the Den, and Akika has actually learned a little bit about tanking. We killed the Heirodule no problem with only three adds I think. (three friggin healers better no one die ya?)

So into Den we go, I make sure everyone knows not to AE so we don't get the books, and well the tank is geared like crap but he's got buffs from God with three healers, so he does ok...poor pulls, but again 3 healers, np..

We're in the door and this Powdurr asshat links a no-trade Legendary BP to the group and asks if the zerker wants to buy it...the poor ebay'd bastard offers him 8 plat before everyone else in the group tells him it's no trade and this powdurr asshat giggles, then procedes
to link his "uber" plate crap from labs...you know, just to really rub in the zerker's face what crap he's wearing...can hear the drool dropping from the guy's mouth.

Now I have to say, I hate these fuckin people... There's these two nubs who probably don't have a hope in hell of ever seeing fabled unless they buy it with ebay'd plat...and linking that shit as a deliberate attempt to make them feel bad, well it's mean, and mean people sux!

So I decide to linky MY BP...Hurricane forged coat, and explain it's a shit castoff no shammy in my guild would be caught dead in, which is why I got it for my little botette...this pretty well made the inquizzy asshat STFU about his "uber" gear, which was all to the good.

Well you can imagine how this goes....Pretty soon the warlock starts nuking like a madwoman...this zerker can barely manage to deal with the aggro from a mystic ward, much less the 'lock blasting everything in sight. She goes down like a whore on payday before anyone can get to her...I think 5 times? ya something like that...What do we care, no one else was dying...(dress wearers need many deaths anyway or they don't feel important)

We finish the instance...The warlock has died AT LEAST 5 times...the tank has pulled entire rooms pretty much every pull...the asshat inquis has been outparsed get this...THREE to ONE on heals by my wife's non-raid pimped fury. and 2-1 by a mystic I've only ever played twice with a keyboard and non-macroed spells in front of me...the Inquiz keeps going on about how uber he is pretty much the whole instance....My wife and I are just laughing like fucking hyenas the whole run, predicting what goofy shit will happen next...

We're all done at the end, Devourer down...... and the Warlock says

....I shit you not....

"Wow great group guys, best I've had in a long time!"

I thought my wife was gonna need an ambulance she was laughing so hard...

Sigh, some days I'm glad there are ebay'd toons out there and nubs to go along with them. If not, my giggle factor would definitely go down a notch.

Sadly with the speed of leveling and the amount of pickup raids. What you see here is not too uncommon for a NON-Ebayed toon. Shit there are alot of people who practically level up completely solo now and have no desire to group. So in the end have nfc what half the stuff in game does.

I thought we had been down this road before, does being a bad player really make them worthy of a thread? PUGs generally suck, I can imagine this kinda shit is par for the course.

Someone should start a thread named "Level 10 questions heard in level 69 chat". I'm frequently amazed at how many players can get to level 70 and still not know very basic game information.

You had a pickup group that contained some less than stellar talent.
