I'm not sure I can go that far.

I will say however, that if someone really feels the need to report someone, I admire and respect it being done in a completely public way as it was done here:

I'm averaging 75+ tattletale PMs and emails per day. It's far far easier for me (and more manly IMO) to make complaints publicly. When it's done publicly, it generates publicity that hopefully helps others realize the error of their ways and not do the same thing.

That's what tough about being the head of a website like EQ2Flames. I don't mind the new forums, or warning people to stop trolling etc...but would it be a bad idea to 'hire' (for lack of a better word) people to be the admins that you really trust..kinda like Niber?

If someone doesn't have the balls to post their issues publicly, they shouldn't even be listened to.

While I agree spamming is bad to *some* extent, I do however feel some people are overreacting, at least from what I've seen/read.

publicly posting tattletale PMs would cut down on the /report spamming and removing the anonymity would encourage people to use some of the already existing forum tools like the ignore button.

Consistant spam is quite annoying. For example, any thread made on Unrest's forum becomes a spam dumpster after any good drama or point is milked out of it.

But yes, I agree - a ton of Unrest threads are huge, some even funny!
