In the spirit of fairness, I took on Lao's challenge to find a post where he single-handedly derailed.

I didn't find one. But the results were interesting nonetheless.

I couldn't find one because I can't search that far back, lol. Running the standard search of all posts by user, the search ended at 10 pages, 25 posts per page. I couldn't fill his request because he hasn't posted in any 'serious' topic in his last 250 posts, of which don't even go past 6 days ago. It appears the last 'serious' topic he participated in that I can find is a copy/paste test update notes thread he started 2 months ago.

I looked at a few other threads he started and participated in a while ago and will agree he has added some usable content to the site. It looks like he's just fallen into a habit of participating in a different kind of thread lately. That could explain why your recent 'contributions' aren't taken very seriously. Maybe just letting this argument die is the right choice.

I'm sort of thankful for the break actually. Lao's idea of winning an argument is to post I win, you lose over and over again until the other person decides to stop ramming his head into the brick wall.

I thought of him more as a troll than a spammer though.

Anyone who was on this site in December to January knew or should have known. The shit needed a rest, and he refused to limit his posting about his issue to the existing thread on that subject after being warned to stop.

I never accused him of "singlehandedly derailing" any thread. My decision was based on him posting excessive gibberish over a long period of time.
