Meh, looked to me like he did all his posting / arguing with you and others on the same topic in 3 diffrent threads, all of which were about the topic at hand for the most part.

The diffrence between you, LFG, and us, is that if someone wants to argue ad nauseum with you about something, you can pull the plug...we can't.

Arguing with you != spamming.
Granted he pushed harder and further than he should have to get you to show links or proof of where he had egregiously spammed or derailed a topic (which I remind the audience you never did) and by doing so hung himself.
BUT, just like in any good flame thread that goes on longer than it ever should, you rose to the bait time and again. Sure, liar may have been a little harsh, I think exaggeration better describes it, but there are many posters here much more guilty of "spam" than Lao.

The only "spamming" Lao was doing was to continue to argue with you and demand examples of his spamming, self defeating as that was, but ask yourself...
Had someone else PMed you about a similar argument that neither side was willing to drop, would you have picked a side and suspended someone?

Or did you just do it because you could?

It is true I repeatedly refused to list out strings of his posts and provide detailed examples of why I consider them to be spam. That is work, and I don't owe him shit.

You want examples? Of his 2800 posts, >70% of them are spam. Look them up yourself.

Anywho, I'm old and it's my bedtime. I just had to point a few things out that I don't personally agree with. Mainly your motives.
I'll keep in mind never to argue with you for more than 3 pages, in more than one thread, or in a tone similar to nails on a chalkboard.

I disagree. I will not allow the site to be taken over by a person or group of people over a single issue. He has a three day suspension, he isn't banned, and I'm fucking thrilled to get a rest from this bullshit.

I resent you questioning my motives. I'm basically sick to death of scenarios where multiple threads get hijacked by the same topic and person who is grinding an axe. That's why I specifically re-wrote the spamming rule after the Disso incident, to prevent angry people from venting about the same argument all over the site, and me having to choose between ignoring that or addressing it in a repeated and continuous manner. Read the Site Rules on spamming, I'm rather surprised you are blind to this basic concept:

The site needed a correction from spammers, and I gave it one. The other two people I accused accepted this like men and moved on. Laodaron instead chose to whine like a little bitch.

I do not disagree that other people have spammed on this site yet I focused on Laodaron in this case. I cannot possibly prevent all spamming on this site and perfectly enforce the spamming rule to result in absolute equality among all users.

Instead, I look at this as if I'm like Superfund. I only have the resources to go after the biggest polluters, because addressing them will have the greatest positive impact and use the least amount of my time.
