You guys need to stop sending PMs, or just turning a blind eye and ignoring it.... help self moderate this board. Make RAR threads about trolls, use the reporting tool, stop whinning to LFG personally there's only so much one man can do. The fact is this didn't happen over night and every single person is responsible b/c you either ignored it or didn't take the appropriate action.

This place was founded with more conviction than just a bunch of whiney people who after one year have some how lost the ability and gumption to fling poo back.

So, any other nominations? Instead of nominations I see people defending themselves. That's not nominations that's spin.

I didnt do any of the above, I was being sarcastic in saying you would have to be a blind asshole to not notice, so regardless of how many PMs LFG gets, it doesnt make it less true.. there are certain ppl on this site that go over board and feel like it is their responsibility to the public for them to show face on every post. They should just read the thread and post a mental note up in the widely vacant brain they have.

I'd be willing to bet a lot of the PMs come from lurkers. People with few or no posts, but who read every word put up here. It used to be that on any bulletin board, you had like 100 lurkers (even more on usenet) for every regular poster. It might be different nowadays with the young whippersnappers being so rude. But that would fit the type of person who would whine in a PM instead of posting a message to STFU.

on one of the live journal pages i use, the admin will post the complaint under the heading: when is it not ok to PM the admin with a complaint?

That is exactly what I was thinking.
For some reason i am thinking that if LFG did post the names of people who were always whining to him, the majority of them would mean absolutely nothing to most of us.
Though I bet there would also be a couple names on there that we all know and would maybe be surprised to see.

This is actually something I didn't even consider and in truth only LFG knows unless he shares with us who it is. I'm curious; is the loud mouths or is it the lurkers? That would drastically change my opinions.
