I totally agree. I can get over the lame ass harry potter and lotr based names. and you cant ever go to a server without having at least 8 delfs named drizzt in some fashion.

but what i hate the most is the frog names. i still remember this live event and the amount of kermits, it just bugs the shit out of me for no reason.

Kermitt, Cermit, chermitt, kermittt, kerrrmit. I mean on mistmoore there were like 100 fucking kermits hopping around. the only frog names i did giggle at were a trio that ran around buuuud, weeiis, and errrrrrr or something to that effect.

My Provi though... her great-great-great-etc grandma in EQ1 with the old models on had freckles. She was a barbarian. Her name was Frekkles Underkilt....

If my fae name gets taken away im gonna be pissed. I want it taken away from me IN GAME not before the expansion. It's really clever (im my eyes), it makes people laugh, o and will it stir up some drama.

I'm not very original in regards to character names -- they're all taken from the same source (with the exception of Fishbu) -- Terry Pratchett's series of Discworld novels.

My character names:

Cohen -- from Ghenghiz Cohen (the Barbarian), leader of the Grey Horde (yes, I was a barbarian warrior in EQOA)

Angua -- from Delphine Angua von Überwald, a werewolf member of the City Watch (Bard in EQOA, and again in EQ2)

Luggage -- from The Luggage, also from the Discworld novels (Necromancer in EQOA).

Any name with Princess in it. Any wizard with blaster in his name. Any derivative of Drizzt, Legolas or any other famous fictional character. Any chanter with the word chant or dazzle in his name. Any one with the word Blood or Night or Death in their name.

Stupid names from the musical world, in the case of rap I am willing to allow it is music for the subject here. Good lord the list of stupid names is astounding really. Some days I amuse myself by reporting exceptionally stupid names.
