Modesty/Papillion and Iltuk/Quimby - Splitpaw

I have read these forums for some time but not until now have I thought about posting.
Since LFG's World Wide Blacklisting thread isn't going anywhere I thought I would make a regular thead. And since the two are a couple and support each other's actions I thought I would make it a double flame. I am trying to keep this as short as I can but it is quite lengthy

Modesty/Papillion:
For those of you who dont know her she was the leader of a guild called Blackguard on the Nektulos server. It was a casual raiding guild full of friendly and helpful people but when it was at it's peak Modesty and Iltuk suddenly left or rather fled to the Splitpaw server. They didn't tell anyone. I was on a break from the game at the time but from what I understand from the other members she told the guild she had sold her character to a friend on Splitpaw which is a lie. The officers in the guild tried very hard to keep the guild alive but all the members felt betrayed and most of them left the guild. Modesty has always been very nice to me and helped me with spell and gear upgrades probably because she didn't want the MT group's power regen to die all the time. I dont think she paid for the items and rares from her own pocket but from the guild bank.
When I came back to the game in June I was quite suprised to learn that my guild was gone. Since she and Iltuk had been so nice to me I didn't believe the rumors about them and their misdeeds. I made a character on Splitpaw and started talking to Modesty. She talked alot about how wonderful the server was and she convinced me to move there. I started moving my characters there I joined a semi hardcome raiding guild called Phenomenon with my coercer. She had an alt guild called Temper Tantrum which was where my alts went. After about a week's time I realised that raiding as a coercer wasn't fun so I left the raiding guild. I had my characters in the alt guild and talked to Modesty every day and it seemed to me that we were quite close. But last sunday when I had just moved my necromancer to the server I logged in a character from my other account to invite him to the guild. My character was unguilded. All my characters were. Modesty had kicked me from the guild! I looked around on my characters and one of them had a mail. Since we are from the same country the letter was in danish so there is no point of showing it.
But it said something like: 'Dont take it personally but I have removed you from the guild. I dont want to do charity work like I did in Blackguard. And honestly: No status after a month? Have a nice game life.'
I dont see how I couldn't have taken it personally. She probably just said that to make herself feel better. As for the other stuff: I have never asked her for gear or spells. It was her choice to give them to me. And regarding the status: While I was in the guild I have never seen anyone do a single writ so I thought to myself this was probably not important for her or the guild. But it was apparently enough to get me kicked. I thought I was one of her closest friends so she could at least have given me a warning. When I was in Blackguard I was one of the highest status contributers and she was probably disappointed when I didn't to the slave work for her. You could say that I'm pretty pissed at her since character transfers aren't exactly cheap.

Iltuk/Quimby:
Modesty's boyfriend/husband. Before he came to Blackguard he was in Evolution and Fellowship of Heavenly Fire. He had to leave both guild when he got unpopular. I have heard a rumor that while he was in Evolution he used a third party program to win lotto rolls. At that time he was playing his beserker, Gibbiceps. In FoHF he was starting alot of drama because of of the loot policies. It seemed impossible for other players to get loot as he had first pick since he was the main tank. The other tank left the guild after an argument between them. He was the raid leader in Blackguard and did a very crappy job at it. He would make us all feel stressed in raids and bitch about people's flaws for days. Iltuk once told a guild member that he could forget about raiding with the guild. The reason for this was that the guild member had joined a courts raid with another guild. The guild member was level 56 at the time and you had to be ar least 60 to go on a Blackguard courts raid. When he left the server with Modesty he took some 20-30 masters from the guild bank as well as the guild funds. When one of the officers asked why he stole from the guild he replied that he wasn't a thief and gave most of the stuff back. If he hadn't been caught in the act I bet he would have kept it all.

I'm very suprised that noone has made a thread about them after what they did.

Coming to Splitpaw was the stupidest idea I have ever had. Some of you would probably call me and idiot for talking to people who turned out to be scum. But I dont mind being flamed as long as I can make people aware of the fact that Modesty/Papillion and Iltuk/Quimby CANNOT be trusted. They are well in their thirties but can suddenly act like 5 year olds.I thought they would have changed when they moved servers and started a new life but that wasn't the case. It is only a matter of time before they strike again. There is 450 dollars for character transfers I will never see again.

Modesty, Iltuk: You bitches can kiss my ass. Fucktards like you are a plauge on the EQ2 community and you dont deserve the joy of the game. Do us all a favor and quit the game.

sorry to hear about your troubles. It's a game and alot of people are playing this game for themself. That unfortunately will never change.

Not surprised to see this post about Quimby/Iltuk, What did surprise me was the Modesty part. I think its already discussed that Iltuk got to be the slowest and crappiest tank i have met in my game life. Hes as bad as a level 15 tank i met once in Black burrow that used /taunt for getting aggro.

Personally i was very surprised with what Modesty/Papillion did in Blackguard, Iltuk/Quimby Had never been secretive about being an ass hat. If they had just been out for themselve it would not have been an issue, problem is they used alot of people on Nektulos server to gain gear,And status. Niether of them had ever done anything that impressed me.

As for the guild status being the reason you were kicked, i think thats the lamest excuse a person could have considering what i know you did in blackguard,as many of us did.

The whining and complaining about others in the raidforce was sooo unbearable that people on Nek still reffer to a pissy tank as an iltuk situation. When in fact the reasons for wipes were the fault of iltuks ego alone.

I think the point in my response to this flame is that if you meet them don't trust them, if you know them now rethink what you know, they have to be 2 of the worst i have met ingame to date and i have been on since launch. Only thing that was so good about them were the people around them.

I'm sure there will be alot more responses atleast from the Nek server to this thread.

And 1 more thing as for charity cases... The only charity i had ever seen was that of Blackguards members seeing to it that thier guild leader,raidleader and supposed friends got what they needed. blackguards members never had an issue with the masters going to guild bank nor the coin. I had never seen them do much to help the general members of the guild in any way short of crafting some items to wich they recieved tons of rares and raws from others to level thier crafters.. I guess like the loyal guildmates we were we'll keep in the tradition of making sure those two get exactly what they need, Only this time by way of a flamed thread...

Iltuk is a child in heart and mind; he is the worst tank I’ve grouped with. His personal skills are horrible in group settings, but he’s devious with the private talks. He will canvase all guildies for 1 or 2 that are sympathetic to his cause and fill them with his plans…then slowly try to subvert more…till eventually he has his way and everyone is trying to figure out how it happened….
His childish behavore when he doesn’t get loot he wants is REPUGNANT and if you have ever witnessed it, you too would want to ground him. He’s like a 13 year old bully who’se parents have given him everything he wants….gah…im irritating myself just thinking about him….

I don’t even know where to start with Modesty. A person who I was friends with for 3 years, steals from me, tells others that I was trying to take over the guild, lies to my face and NEVER ONCE said sorry….this person is less shit. I have less respect for her than Iltuk, cause at least Iltuk never tried to hide the fact that he was an asshat.

If you are guilded with these folks, seriously reconcider it, I’m sorry I didn’t warn enough people sooner about them. I can tell you that they have cause MONTHS of aggrivation and saddness for more than 100 people on the Nek server, now it looks like they are upping the body count on Split paw.

I have no idea what motivates two people to be so poisonous to get what they want. They had MANY friends willing to do what ever they wanted in Blackguard and threw it all away (pissed on it really) for what?? To distance themselves from a few people who wanted to keep Blackguard full for friends, not just raid whores.

In summery Iltuk = Immature Bi-Poalr Asshat, Modesty = Evil Asshat.

I didn't think Iltuk was ever in Evolution, but I do know he was in a lot of guilds on Nek. Like Order of the black or white Rose, Nox Arma, Archons, and yes FoHF before Blackguard

I always considered Iltuk a friend as I never experienced any of the crazyness I hear about towards me, but I have heard some wild things said about these ppl. Before they left the server it seemed everyone on the server knew who they were and flamed them in 60-69 every time their names was mentioned, lol.

I expect this thread could get interesting yea, if some of those ppl who were the most vocal against them see it.
