Same thing happened on Nek server, but using Pristine Moonstones. When the new broker system went into effect someone bought all the Pristine Moonston relic gems on the broker, re-priced them just under the rare moonstone price. Chat in 60-69 was crazy with people who got suckered buying those and thinking they could get spells made.

lol I think that happened on Every server. Plus wasn't that like when they introduced all these other things for spells? You could, before at least, use rough gems or clusters for spells no matter the class. Didn't know what the fuck loams were either when they were put in game. So I can see how people would have been fooled into that.
