man this shit never gets old lol. according to those current parses (1700 lol?) i do better dps on my fucking monk than him, and if i had the same gear as him i could play my wizard considerably better than he can. first few runs on my wizzy i was doing between 1500 and 1800 ZW in various KoS zones (if i wasnt getting pwnt by an aoe, yay shit gear), and im only using master ice nova fusion and surging tempest, and about 85 AP at the time. i dunno, but if someone who is most definitely a mediocre wizard to say the best could hit his parse with crappy gear, something definitely isnt right on his end. my sig kthx

The funniest thing is furies are totally capable of outhealing every other priest while in full heal mode in certain fights.

this is why i dont post jerk off parses.

its not b/c im necessarily overpowered, but b/c I have complete understanding of what is going on at all times as well as timing. I rarely make mistakes and am good at adjusting. That zonewide does not show the capabilties of most furies.

In addition from a utility standpoint we arent offering much. we have agitate which can be put on only 1 person, and vim which has such a small benefit because of diminishing returns.

I pay attention to every detail and test it thoroghly, I know when to cast what depending on who is in the raid and the length of time for encounters, all of this matters. I'm constantly casting something whether its to keep up power or just premptively to get up a proc or make sure i dont have to heal for the first 10 seconds. I really am not the typical fury.

If furies were that overpowered guilds would run with an overabundance of furies, but they dont. DPS is our niche as a healer and if that were taken away we would have very little left. Especially after seeing what is happening with RoK which LFG you are fully aware of.

Another big deal when comparing us to other preists, is we are the only ones who are purely casting oriented. As soon as we switch to heal mode we do little to no dps whereas other classes can just target through the mob and auto attack for 1k easy. there are trade offs and healers are prolly the only well balanced archtype at this point in time.

it was a blanket statement, about healer dps in general i didnt mean it to be a true just autoattack and /afk. IMO wardens in particular have completely downplayed their usefullness this expansion, which is a shame. When people dont see that they can top the parse or be a major parsing producer they tend to give up, the only classes that don't suffer from this are bards and troubs, which i commend.
