Before this whole incident I respected Aftermath and considered you a mature, friendly guild. I have asked Legacystar wizard questions in the past and he has been helpful and polite. I have nothing against any of you. When I saw Tikk’s last name I was surprised. I didn’t think that Aftermath’s leadership would allow someone to use a last name that openly mocks someone’s real life religion. I sent Tikk a tell asking him to change his last name, but he happened to be afk for a long period of time. I could have just reported the name violation without saying anything to Tikk and you would have never known who did it. I gave him a chance to respond but unfortunately he was afk. From the maturity I have now observed from other Aftermath members since this incident, I don’t think Tikk would have changed his name when I asked him to. I reported the name, but I just wanted it to be changed. I didn’t want his account to be suspended, and I didn’t think it would come to that. He must have had other violations in the past. If someone uses a last name like he did, unless they are a total idiot, they have to expect some backlash. If someone mocks my religion openly in game, I will challenge it every time. I don’t want Tikk’s account to be suspended, I don’t think that is fair. I wish he would have been online so I could have seen his response to my request. If it was positive and he changed his last name then I would have respected that. But, I have to question someone’s character and/or maturity level who chooses a last name like that in the first place. That is all I have to say. Fezik

Well as another Mormon (or ex-Mormon, whatever, I still have Missionaries coming to my house so w/e) Fezik, I don't find it offensive in the slightest...here's a suggestion, this is A GAME, play it as A GAME. Granted there are always limits, like if someone's name is promoting child abuse/porn and etc but seriously, you got your panties in a wad over that?

And when did there have to be a maturity level of a certain extent to play the game? If you're this upset over a fucking name I suggest you just /delete. Seriously.

So yeah, this has me seriously pissed off because you're going to petition something so damn minor and get upset over this stupid little shit because it has something against your religion. If he wants to put Communist and Mormon together, in the same sentence or in the same breath that's his damn right to do it. What do you do if you hear something that offends you? Do you call the police? Contact your congressmen? How about just turning away and respecting their right to do so?
