Well, it had to happen eventually. This player was given access by a new officer unfamiliar with the guild rules and Whitiefaerie waited until the early hours and looted Banks 1-3. Mostly junk but still. Attached are this toons alts and a shout to Guardians of the Shadow Realm where this person has 3 toons. A quick look on EQ2 Players shows that none of these toons have been played for more than a few hours. Will work on pasting bank log and any available chat logs when I get home tonight.

Possible collusion between your new officer and this Whitiefaerie?

How long after your new officer was promoted did Whitiefaerie join?

Was bank access granted almost instantly?

Is Whitiefaerie actually your new officers second account?

All questions you need to be asking. The officer needs at least a demotion, if not booting, and whoever promoted the officer in the first place needs to ask themself if the criteria for promotion doesn't need looking at. Knowing guild rules should be a given.

Oldest rule in the book is don't give anyone access to the guild bank until you would trust them enough that you could put your balls in a cupboard door and they wont slam it shut on you.

You'll get little sympathy from anyone as this shit has been going on since guild banks were introduced.

Lol, lots of good responses. Turns out it was just Guild Banks 1 and 2 and seriously for the time it took this guy to level his toon and earn the neccesary SPs to gain access he could have looted stuff worth more than he stole.

We do a good job of keeping the value in these vaults really low so the loss wasn't significant its just the thought that someone's life is so screwed up they have to be a cyber thief as a career. i mean come on at least have the courage to be a RL thief, that's low enough without stepping down one more level.

He did loot the same vaults in Guardians and probably cycles through his toons doing this then will delete, re-roll and do it again.
