Hey Eq2flames, I always love trolling through all the threads of this site and never thought i would ever have a story to tell .. but i think this is a good one.. now im not sure if it belongs in the server drama because this is not the first time someone from this guild has done something like this but oh well here goes..

I was in a vaults group with an assasin, wizzy, zerker that went ld on the last name , monk (that replaced the zerker for the last name ), a troub and an inquisi
kk Im not goin to get into who was healin more because i so happened to have not had my parser up .. (i so wish i did )

but we lucked up and got a master off of the boss. In it was Vilify (bruiser master) , a legendary bow, and a legendary chain breat plate.
There was no speak about ffa except for the master of course. I had stated that I was goin to roll on the chain chest piece because umm im a chain wearer i guess?.. This @$%@$ (inquisitor) rolls on the chest piece and the bow which were both no trade. I cant speak for the assassin because he never spoke up about it, he just dropped group afterwards (probably pissed)
I win the master and saw that the inquisitor won the chest piece.. It didnt dawn on me that it was chain and a plate healer had rolled on it cuz i was awe struck that i finally won a master after sooo long. (I have the worst luck with dice rolls) So after scrolling up and down I put it to guild chat and was told that this would make good reading on this site. I have screen shots of the group chat and the rolls and of the loot so that no one can come back and say that it was some big mis understanding .. Because in no way this can not be seen as anything but Greed.
This is not the first time anyone has had this to them im sure .. but Im also hearing tales that this is not the first time this has happened from anyone from this @#$%@ (inquisitor's) guild TE on the CB server..
So you be the judge...

Nvm. Thought you were the troub for some reason since you weren't exactly clear what class you were.

TE is a euro guild so i can't actually say if this particular person understood a word of English. But um the bp is usable by inquisitors as well. I don't know if this person would use it considering they are a raid guild but there is plenty of healer loot in rok that is usable regardless of type chain/leather/plate for all healing classes.

That inq was perfectly entitled to roll on that chest imo.

To reinforce what gungo said, even the developer for itemisation basically said, healers will need to use all the types of armor now since only MIT is different among them and MIT has no bearing in most situations.

So get used to inqs' rolling on leather and chain, it's the rok way.

Lets say the healer piece in question had been plate and the OP had rolled on it. Everyone would have been outraged that the asshole defiler rolled on something he couldn't even equip. Yet when the asshole cleric rolls on chain that's ok? Unless SOE is going to make all healer armor leather then druids (and to a lesser extent shamans) get fucked.

Maybe the chain piece was an upgrade for the cleric, but the plate version of the legendary set would be a better upgrade--and the defiler wouldn't have access to it. So there's nothing to prevent the inqie from rolling on it, technically speaking, but it's still a fuck in the ass to the defiler since he *can't* use the plate set. It's SOE's bad for making a game were using less protective armor would be a viable option, but it's Oniza's bad for stealing the best option available to a shaman. He should have just sucked it up and waited for the plate piece--when no other healer would be rolling against him.

Aren't most inquisitor's melee specced? Why would an inquisitor want that BP? Yes, technically they can equip it, and yes, SoE did go through the trouble of listing inq and templar on it. I'd say it's more likely that they rolled on it without really thinking first.

Don't fret tho Miz, it'll drop again.

I'd say he's entitled to roll on it, since that's pretty much how RoK seems to be working now. It doesn't matter if he's melee spec'd. All healers now HEAL as their primary function, so + to heals is going to benefit him more than some pos bp with 500 mit and 45 str...

I was gonna respond to this last night but fell asleep..
Anyways - neither of you can yet use it, but it is clearly an ideal shammy piece. I wants it for my mystic. As to whether or not the inq would use it? It's chain. The inq seems to still be using all their T7 raid gear even though some of the quest stuff should be upgrades by now.. and rolling on a no-trade bow - not great as a bow but the stats would be a tasty boost - when someone else could use it - makes me think Loot Ho. Sorry you got burned Miz - will drop again though!

And BTW a good bit of the plate from quests has been cleric/pally appropriate - no excuse for not having those as upgrades yet! (not knowing if they might not have seen it due to the weirdness of some of the quest rewards being bugged, but it's out there)

I doubt he wanted it to enhance his melee ability. Nice 0.00 dps on the parse. Prolly a combo of all three: loot whore, no speaka da engrish, and reflexive button mash on "Loot All".

i fail to see the issue. it clearly says an inq can wear it, you guys all rolled, he won. get over it. better luck next time. sounds to me your pissed you lost the roll. i mean wtf, you wanted to win every peice in the chest? be happy you got a master out of it. cry me a river nooblet.
