I actually had a very polite told about this with Leithe.

I don't know if he would agree or not, the impression I came away with is that he thinks most of the RP community on AB are assholes, and the Raven just happens to be the biggest collection of said assholes, and so... he's pointing to my site not so much to single that place out, as to point to all the people there, for judgment.

Shit, I don't know. I made the Raven as a big party barn. Stories, a chat channel, place to posts stupid shit, and generally have some fun. Not a guild, so no guild drama. A few rules to keep things civil. Not too straight-laced, not to racy...nice... middle-groundish thing.

Now I guess when you want to point to a bunch of people and say, "Look.... emo-drama whores! Assholes!" some think the RM is the biggest collection of them.

Me, I can think of a bigger collection. It's called Earth. About 99% of them think that 80% of everyone else is a big emo-drama asshole, insert level of sexual depravity relative to your culture.

Meh. It's a video game. There was a time when people did things and I got all upset, hurt, whatever. Then you get older, and realize that it's all just a video game, wherein a lot of people pull a lot of stupid shit, and then you just stop caring.

Leithe's spent a lot of time on many boards posting about how the AB server, especially it's roleplayers, are all a bunch of drama queens and backstabbing liers, and other sorts of bad.

Well, no shit, we're geeks and roleplayers. In a video game. Seeing each other day after day, where the worst of every player can be delivered to you in concentrated form.

This really shouldn't be a shock to anyone. You find some friends, ignore the rest, and let it roll off your back. *shrugs*

I could direct you to several good web sites for people questioning their own sexuality. They might help you sort out some of these feelings your having. I know it can be difficult at first, but if you take the time to come to terms with your fetishes...
