I've tried to RP the opposite sex, just for a different perspective, but I was such a failure at it I gave up.

And I can say that I've not yet met someone who seriously played a female character to be a creep. Some internet trolls and griefers, yeah, but nobody who was seriously RPing. Again, its just a damn story.

Anyone who gets the heebie-jeebies over what gender a person is compared to the gender of the character they're role-playing is really fairly insecure about themselves. Especially if they start wondering if they're gay because they liked the role-play, or didn't notice it was a man behind the female character. I also wonder how violent their reaction would be if in real-life they were hit on by a gay man, or a transgendered person.

In short, grow up and get over it. Just because someone's character hits on your character in-game, doesn't mean they want to drive to your house in RL and make you their bitch, then indoctrinate you into the "gay club", toaster oven and all.

~RP Haven. "Community for ALL RPers, both AB abd LDL" *cough*bullocks*cough* It was a place for one little group of "buddies" and their sycophants. Nothing more, nothing less. The LDL community was summarily ignored, and when it became obvious that you'd be banned if you didn't bow and scrape, I left.

I like the new place better, because not only am I not afraid to say wtf I think, as a guildleader, it's actually shaping up into a much more actual "community" thing.

Leithe's going to continue saying the bullshit he's saying, cuz, as I've seen, that's what his dumbass does, but when he says that they didn't close down without notice, and didn't ban people for disagreeing with the party line, he's lying. Oh and when he talked about 90% of the guildleaders asked about banning this one chick? That'd be 90% of the three or four people he asked. Her banning was never a problem for me, it was the "all the guildleaders agreed on it" Well fuck me. I must have agreed to that bullshit in my fucking sleep.

Granted, being an LDL guildleader, I'd have probably said, "go with the majority, I got little to say.", but the fact that he's been sticking right to that "All the guildleaders", while ignoring the entire LDL guildleader group(granted, there aren't many of us lol), and a good portion of the AB guildleader group, just, well, shows him to be refuckingdiculous.

Again I say, the Town Square is a *much* calmer, more active community, I'd say, largely due to the fact that people might be less afraid to speak their mind, for fear of getting on the wrong side of TEH OWNER(and her bigass mouthpiece).

Pretty much as I thought.

That's a good way to ban someone you want to ban, but are afraid to look like a jackass that bans people for no reason. Ask people who already dislike the person, and have already proven they're willing to say anything about said person to screw with them, then use it to claim that they asked around and heard bad things.

Bad move...and good riddance to cliquish, power-tripping crap.

The majority of the time, its obvious if a female toon is a guy. Rarely...not so obvious.
