Personally i agree with ya... anon posters as a whole are lame as hell. But i have bigger problem with the shit talkers then the non-shit talkers.

Its easy for those of you in big raid guilds to say that posting anon is bad.
Those who are backed up by a bunch of people, who can still get things done in game even if they piss off some big guild, can sit back and call those of us that post anon pussies or anything else.

But those of us in small family guilds, who need YOU to get the occasional pickup raid done, can't afford to be remembered for our opinions. Pussy? Probably. I can live with that. I saw it happen over and over in EQ1, where folks would speak their minds and get blacklisted.

Its easy for YOU to say stand up and be counted. And maybe you aren't the type of asshat who would hold someone's opinion against them in the game, especially if the person is honestly trying to state their opinion, but lets not pretend that 90% of the gamers are that mature ok?

That's why. If you don't have the balls to put up with the consequences of speaking, then don't fucking speak. Again, if someone's going to hold you against your opinion, that's their decision.. But that's part of the consequence of speaking out.

LFG can't force anyone to tell people who they are, but I also don't have to acknowledge or respect you as an Anon poster. To me you'll always just be a bitch.

I'm in a big raiding guild? Now while i raid we are not a big raiding guild.. we've never killed a contested.. chel isnt dead. I just speak my mind and am not afraid of what people think of it. The people who hide are just little bitches scared of what others think about them. There is some people i flame that wont come here.. they're scared as well. But i respect them more then i do anon's.

I have to agree with the OP. If the ANON poster is contributing to the community as a whole but chooses to remain anon for political reasons (so to speak), though I still think its lame, it may serve a purpose. But to come on ANON for the SOLE Purpose of flaming someone is lame and imo pussified. Especially when 90% of their posts are focused on ONE individual. How is this fair to the Flamee? Since they dont know who the ANON Retard is how can they even defend themselves properly. I'm not saying all flames must be fair, but I think it would be more entertaining if the flamee could show everyone the "flip" side and expose the flamer and their actions. Yeah thats pretty much crap, if your voicing opinions which are going to piss off "big guilds" to the extent you believe, you probably shouldnt be using the same guilds to meet your personal needs.

Well I suppose I could post my guild, server and char name (which is my user name) on DDO (which is the game I'm currently playing) if it bothers people that much. But then I'm sure I'd get flamed for reading on a board about a game I don't play anymore (seen it happen lots here). Oh well.

Even if they make a lvl 1 alt, you can check to see who that alt belongs to on EQ2Players. You can't hide it that way.
