...but I agree with Tordyn - if and only if said people are going to try to call people out on shit that pertains to playstyles.

If you are anon, but don't get caught up in drama, or flaming...then fine go ahead and be anon....but if you are going to get into it with people, then sac up (hmm what the fuck would be the equiv of sac up for a woman) and show who you are.

Heya Methesa, I think most people agree that non-flaming anon's are OK. Its the ones that call people out, flame them, lie about them, talk shit and basically attack persons without ever revealing thier own identities. Most think its cowardly, and it is. There have been flamers that love making fun of people who are fat, yet have never posted their own picture on these boards. ITs a one-sided flame and their anon status keeps them immune from attack (since no one knows who they are, how can we in turn call them out?) So basically the message they are putting out is: I want to flame people, but can't stand being flamed, so I'll stay anon. Its cowardly and most people dont respect that behaviour. You do not fall into that category, so no worries.

I cant agree more about what Tordynn said, annon flamer suck.
I ll bring a quick exemple. MasterMagePug stayed annon for a long time before giving his guild and character name. He flamed insurgence and Impulse while staying annon. I have no issue with him in game but my respect for him is now kinda inexistant even though i know he can be a nice guy.
Also an infamous troll on the official EQ2 board was Magus, his trolling was always a nice laught because he always nailed the stupidity and the lack of common sense of others. I d have love to know who he was on MM before he quited the game

YEAH! I am a ranger in RL! We are all really anon really, but yeah, post your frigging name and server if you are gonna be a random flamer. I always despised people who were to afraid to say who they were in game but were quick to tell you how wrong you were in your opinion.
