Default Strode..Troubie on Oasis

Event: Maidens pickup run, aprox. one week ago (slammed by the holidays so couldn't get to this sooner)

Pickup run consisted of various members from 4 unique guilds, 2 of which were Paradigm members (top raiding guild on Oasis). This was my first and last time grouping with the troubadour named Strode, one of the 2 paradigm members present that night.

Pickup run was going along as well as can be expected with pickup and no chanter class present. As often is the case with a transmuter on board the group elected to mute all no-trade items legendary items that no one wanted to use. Strode being a muter rolled on these items and announced he would do all muting at end of run..fine ok. Run is progressing along, all names dropping ornate and not one piece of loot was needed/wanted by anyone so Strode had at least 3 legendary pieces (probably 4+ as I seem to remember a few were double drops) waiting to be muted. The last name wasn't going as well as the previous ones, our in/out calls for dps were off and resulted in 3ish wipes before Strode decided to show his true colors.

Without one word to us in group chat he logs. A simple LD? Nope..his remaining guildie confirmed he just was tired of wiping and bailed on us. Needless to say he embarrassed the hell out of his guildie still present and the kicker, made off with every piece of legendary loot that had dropped zonewide. Wow what an asshole. Had he just forgotten? Perhaps...course if he'd had the courtesy of saying to the group..guys this isn't working out I need to leave, maybe someone would have said something to the effect of no problem man..lets mute those items before you go. But no, and of course he hasn't made one attempt at returning those items to the group after he muted them.

You get any infusions off that shit we earned Strode? Well I hope you choke on em man. You'd think a member of the top raiding guild on Oasis would represent himself and his guild a little better.

Huh. It was probably an accident, that kind of thing is easily forgotten about. Why didn't you just talk to him in game about it next time you saw him on? Fuckups happen, seriously. It's kind of surprising he LD'd out without saying anything, and I'm not excusing that, but flame him for that, not for forgetting about the stupid transmutables.

(I haven't talked with Strode in quite awhile, was guilded with him when he was in Dirty Dozen)

Strode always seemed to be a stand up guy when I've ever had to deal with him. Maybe he just forgot but either way never let anyone loot and mute at the end of a zone. Just for the reason that people get disconnected or pissed off at bad groups all the time. Sending a tell to him would of been a better way to handle this then to bitch him out here.

I am flaming him for both..absolutely. Obviously he had enough respect for his guildie to tell them "this group sucks I'm bailing." Fact that he didn't take the extra 10secs to tell the whole group is pretty low. This was my first time grouping with him and he did a wonderful job as coming across as an elitist prick. In game tell doesn't let others know what kind of behavior to expect in pickup should you have him along in your group.

First off i did not ninja loot the items or steel them, i mailed them to Gienno who was waiting for conformation from the 2nd healer to see if they wanted to roll on the items, (not my fault everyone is on at different times) i muted them the next morning and mailed all 4 powders to her.

Second off it was 4:30AM in the morning, and i said in group that i needed to be done by 4AM, and after watching that last named go from 50% to 80%+ for the 5th time in a row i was so tired and frustrated i just shut down. i had to work that morning.

also next time befor you think about flaming someone you should send them a /tell and ask them whats going on, would have been simple to explain. but instead you try to make me look like a gready prick when you were to lazzy to send me a /tell.

Lol @ Strode

This is what happens when you group with the normal riff raff that runs around on Oasis.

Next time stick to Paradigm pickup groups to be safe.

And keep your special sauce off my pizza.

So grouping with someone once DID tell you what kind of behavior to expect from him? I guess you've never done something unseemly in a pickup group ever, right? One event of such minor caliber does not a retard make, at least not of the accused.

I have some special sauce for you Mr Kaizer, Sir. But you have to come and get it. <3
