So which is it? I have no clue who this girl is, and she should probably has her own issues. Buuuuut it sounds like you saw someone who was seeking attention, and you wanted to give her attention. You 'break up' with her (which, the fact that you used that term, would suggest you had told her that you cared about her in some way or enjoyed her company or something) and then you call her a cunt?
