after I was suspended for saying "the channel hasn't been exciting since the GM's said we can't pick n Yuyoy" (which may I point out is a factual statement) I submitted the following petition.

I do not see how the following things said in jest can be classified as abuse:

"The channel hasn't been exciting since the GMs said we can't pick on Yuyoy."

"I can't keep likening him to Voldemort and calling him, He who cannot be named."

"My husband is honored to have a post started by him moved to the Hallowed halls of flames."

NONE of these things is harrassing, none of these things is threatening, none of these things is cursing, none of these things are abusive.

I can CERTAINLY understand Grigor being suspended for saying "Yuyoy is a fucktard" as that IS foul language, harrassment directly to the person and definitely against the EULA.

I sincerely hope that you will reconsider this decision. I did not harrass the person, I did not swear, I did not respond to the person who DID swear and curse him. Three months ago I was asked to leave him alone and I have. It was a simple comment made in jest, even the gentleman at SOE that I spoke with this evening, Scott, felt that this suspension was not warranted based on the chat text in the logs.

The addendum:

I would like to add the following:

1. The suspension is over now, so aside from removing the Soul Mark on my acocunt, which I feel is something that should be done not much else you can do for that particular issue.

2. I received no in game notice of my suspension, nor did I receive an email. I also received no notification on my Service History until CSR Scott at SOE put a petition in on my behalf, which was given the standard canned response.

3. I spent over a yeah being harrassed by a man in EQ1. I submitted petitions, screentshots to GM's email upon request, chat logs, etc. NOTHING was ever done aside from a "Gee I am so sorry. Put him on ignore". I find it very distressing that a woman can be harrassed to the point where I left the server and eventually the game. But a male character on EQ2 gets some verbal backlash from a HUGE section of the EQ2 community on Kithicor, because HE has made some fantastical accusations, allegations, besmirched the characters of many people and guilds, created alternate accounts to taunt people, petitioned names that have been in the game for over 8 years and gets them changed and knows about them, AND THE NEW NAME within minutes of it happening, even before the person who's name was changed... he gets off scott free. SEVERAL people have called SOE regarding this person, several have petitioned, many have stated that this person is obviously getting special GM treatment. It seems readily apparent.

MANY people received an in game mail from GM Chandrok telling us to not mention Yuyoy in open channels. Those of us that have called have been told "drop it or you will be banned". Why are our concerns not being addressed? Why is it that the voice of MANY people is being disregarded in favor of one person who owns multiple accounts and plays the system to his full advantage? Why are WE all wrong and he is right? It is ridiculous the lenghts that have been gone to to afford this person such a high degree of customer service. He is able to have GMs intervene for him within minutes (and please don't tell me I am wrong, EVERYTIME he has petitioned one of us for some infraction he imagined, and some I am sure are justified, a suspension or a Gm "talking to" happens in less than an hour. The rest of us wait HOURS and HOURS, sometimes days for responses to our petitions. This gentleman also always seems to know WHO the GM is that spoke with a person he has petitioned and the outcome of the conversation. I have heard all the responses of "we do not discuss other players and the actions taken". I cry foul. SOMEONE is feeding this guy info. Either he is a GM himself or someone he is friends with is.
I would like more of a response than "we don't discuss these things" and "you are wrong" and "persist at your peril".

My response:

My account was suspended on 01/03/08 at 1609 pst. I was not able to log in until 1/06/08 at 8:20 EST (which is 3 days and 26 minutes) so my suspension was not lifted early.

I have yet to recieve any response to the validity of this suspension.
How can I be harassing a player that wasn't even on line, and by his own admission had not been online in 2 weeks.

I have received no response as to the removal of the Soul Mark on my account as I was suspended for harassment of player Yuyoy, who was not online, nor had been for 2 weeks prior by his admission, so how could I be harassing him?

I have received no response to WHAT comments I made were in voilation of the EULA.

So yes, I guess you could say I still have questions...

Response (Lead GM Encegawi)01/11/2008 01:12 PM I've granted you back 4 days of time to your account to compensate for the suspension. The reason you were suspended was due to the fact that you were warned in the past about harassing or instigating harassment regarding a player. While your comments were not vulgar, it led to worse language from other players and instigated the event. Players are responsible for following GM direction at all times. We had asked you and several other players not to target this player for harassment, yet that warning was ignored. We can't force you to like the player, but we can enforce the rules on the server. Regardless of the players online status, the direction the conversation was going would have been defamatory. In the end, other players may see this as acceptable then continue to harass the other player. Our goal here is to stop harassment before it ever starts, and that is why your account was suspended. Although the action taken was too severe for the infraction, I agree with the reasoning the GM took. The soulmark cannot be removed once entered, but it will be modified to indicate a warning instead of a suspension. My recommendation would be not to mention the player again unless they start something with you. If that becomes the case, then please /report it and petition and we will take appropriate action. If you had any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

Suffice it to say, Yuyoy will alwyas be protected. He either IS a GM or has a GM relative. There is no way a person could get a GM into a channel in less than 10 minutes like they did last night (1/18/08). People will say "But he wasn't on, how could he do that!?!?!?" He is almost always on, just not as Yuyoy. He has several accounts and a multitude of toons. He is there, watching and waiting for someone to make a false move. If SOE would just run an IP check on the toons doing the petitions, I bet they would see that they are coming from him still.

I have followed this for a while now and I need an answer to this simple question. I have read the logs posted and especially the one in this thread. Please show me in the logs of last night where Yuyoy baited anybody on Kithicor which brought out SOE's Official statement in open chat channel? If you can prove Yuyoy has started all of this, and as many people that hate him on Kithicor, surely someone would have proof submitted against Yuyoy by now.

Oh and let me add... there was 2-3 days between each response from SOE except for the last one from Encegawi. The response time from my final response to his was less than two hours.

That was a fantastic read!!! Man... I would have had soooo much fun!!!

None of the tells I ever got from him had GM around his name. I got his mails that are exactly like everyone elses. When I got suspended SOE would not tell me a damn thing about why, how, who, etc. Just I was banned for vilolating chat channels rules.

Funny thing was, that day I had logged on for less than an hour and the first time in over 2 weeks. This Chandrok is cocksucker for sure. I see it has gotten even more out of control. I wish I still played to see all this drama! Good luck to all who were suspended.

After Justingrell got banned on Nagafen, we got the same run-around from Kimbial and Chandrok leading up to "drop it, or get banned".

Ok.. for one, no one said Yuyoy baited anyone. The post was about GM Chandrok and his actions. He banned people based on their actions that were uncalled for in SoE's eyes. Earlier in the day (less than 1 hour from the tell from Chandrok), i responded to someone else mentioning his name. I was in a raid and stated to the guild that i just got a tell from Chandrok because i mentioned Yuyoy. Yuyoy hasn't not sent me a tell or emailed me to ask me to stop talking to him or has fessed up to the fact that the past actions that he has done was wrong or appologized for doing the things that he has done to the people that he has wronged. Once that is done.. i'll stop bringing up his name and ask them to not worry about it. Being that nothing has been done about Yuyoy's past issues except to harrass those who make light of him and joke about him, means that he is getting special privilages that is not warrented or given to anyone else. I joke to and about people all the time, people need to stop petitioning when their feelings get hurt or just because someone mentioned their name. SoE is not making efficient time managment if they are paying someone to monitor a name over issues with the game. When a GM comes online and states no real reason why i shouldn't type a name with a joke attached that isn't defamatory, when NOONE else who said anything at that time recieved a tell or an email about the things that were said at the time that i did, then why select me? because i had the last name of "Banyuyoy" and Yuyoy saw it back in Oct 2007. So im harrassing him by not talking to him, buying things from him or seeking him out. So my question remains.. is anything going to be done about the mishandling of the situation by Chandrok? If he never came on and asked about what i did, then the actions that followed would never have happened. Does that mean that he will be suspeneded based on past disciplinary actions?
