Re: Animalistic, Guildleader of Rebellion, Runnyeye
The god pet or "Jealous Observer" as Babe called it meant to be people he has known looking on jealously at what he has achieved.
I tried for months to make the homepage more serious but him and Babe were like "WTF we can't remove our mascot" lol.
How a stupid looking god pet is supposed to be a raid guilds "mascot" was always beyond me. Just another example of the little dream world he lives in I guess.

Re: Animalistic, Guildleader of Rebellion, Runnyeye
I joined Rebellion when they first started off - expecting organised raiding 3/4 times a week...I left a fantastic guild (Mythic Legion) to do this. Soon we had a few more members, who like me expected raiding 3/4 times a week, well organised and plenty of laughs.
However, later we recuited some total morons as well...and they along with Animalistic came up with the 'brilliant' idea of going hardcore and taking on contesteds.
By then I was an officer and tried to explain that there already were two established and very good hardcore guilds (Xan and Defs) and several others less hardcore but nontheless capable ones also having shots at contesteds (Remnant, Redemption, and Fusion)... there was no chance that we would be able to take them on - especially when our raidtank works a few evenings.
Which also brings me to the most pointless and downright retarded strats that Ani managed to invent. I mean we wiped on Zylphax about 8 times trying to run him around his pedestal in order for Ani to avoid getting hit by the fucking aoe! fucking hell - you can tank him in the bloody corner and joust it and have high disease/poison resists.
Did I mention the most screwed up loot distribution system? I mean while just about every other guild uses dkp or similar - rebellion distributes all it's loot according to Animalistic. Hmmm...where did all the tank loot go? why is Animalistic running around in full fabled while there are other tanks and offtanks in the guild who do more tanking then him and are in legendary.
And then you have Lixz...when i found out that he was flirting with the entire guild I found it bloody retarded...i mean if that was your idea of a fucking joke Ani I feel sorry for you...pretending to be your imaginary neighbour and trying to chat people up
Im sure there is more shit to say about Animalistic - keep the flames coming!

Re: Animalistic, Guildleader of Rebellion, Runnyeye
The loot system was by officer vote by the time I got invited. Animalz would always stay out if Tank loot dropped though and it had be down to others to choose who it went it to.
Towards the the end me and him has some major clashes lol. It got to the point where he told me to "Fuck off and do I want to do" because I used to wind him up so much on the officer boards(I still have the thread saved on notepad).
I pointed out that going for Avatars(pipe dreams for him) was pointless because Xanadu and Defiant would always be there first, but as usual he wouldn't listen.
Towards the end when I decided to leave it was obivious that the "guild" iss nothing but his way of using to achieve what he wants and only what he wants. Everyone else is basically told to fuck themselves.

I remember that idea from when we (Fizzleblood) were trying to figure Zylphax out. Someone had told someone in the guild to run the mob in laps around the room - obviously the results were disastrous and the strat was abandoned because it's bloody silly.
Ani obviously loved that strat though - round and round in circles, woops! Mind the pot! lolz

Re: Animalistic, Guildleader of Rebellion, Runnyeye
@Edeemia:
Just have to point out that when loot drops that's a tanking upgrade, Remnants tanks get it regardless of DKP standing. The order being our MT then OT. Our Pally is uncontested on all Crusader loot and tank loot the others don't need.
This system relies on the tanks judgement when it comes to items that are more DPS oriented than tank. I don't think it's that unusual a system.
Most recent example was a bow from VP (trueshot or whatever it's called). Not an upgrade for me (Ranger) but was for some other classes. It turned out to have a raw 55hp upgrade for our MT (+other stuff) so went straight to him.
imo, whether you like an MT or not, any possible tanking upgrade should be automatically given to them. Other systems probably work well too but this one has seen us through a number of expansions without issues.
