There is none...I think this turned from an LFG flame post to a CL vs Disso flame retaliation post as a result of the amount of the negative attention drawn to/from http://www.eq2flames.com/showthread.php?t=1979.

But that's just a personal drawn conclusion of mine

Unfortunately, I'm not the one advertising that I have such high in-game ethical standards. I'm merely calling someone out on it.

Have I ever done anything questionable in the game? Probably. But I also did not complain about such minor in-game problems as boxes/bags in inventory which would lead people to conclude that I am morally/ethically/whatever above reproach.

Your conclusion would be wrong. This has nothing to do with guild affiliation. I'm merely flaming someone that left themselves open for it.

Right, which means even tho some people *say* they have standards above everyone else, really shows that they are no different.

While I don't really agree with what he (and others) did, I don't recall him saying his morals were "above reproach."

Please provide a quote of him saying so.

Otherwise you're just spewing your own translation of what you WANT to hear and putting your own spin on it. You're a day late and a dollar short, bucko. This topic was already hashed out ad nauseum some 20 pages ago in a different thread.

You're comparing two topics (boxes and adornments) that are completely different, seperate, and having different circumstances. You have decided (on your own from what I can see, correct me if I'm wrong) that because he believes item (A) is wrong in his opinion, he must automatically think (B) is also wrong.

That is YOUR interpretation of his morals and his feelings. I have not seen him state those things. Just because he thinks boxes are an exploit (which is fucking ridiculous IMO, don't get me wrong) doesn't mean he believes taking advantage of an SoE provided, and ANNOUNCED, refund is wrong.

When I said it was questionable, I think you forgot questionable does not mean it's wrong. It simply means exactly what it suggests, it is subject to questioning by each person based on how they feel. But like they say, opinions are like assholes.

Unless you have some info on why the boxes issue and the adornment issues are related, as far as LFG is concerned, then you're wasting your time.

Fanbois abound!

It's called "reasonable doubt".

First off, dumbfuck, don't ever refer to me as a fanboi. About anything, let alone LFG. I had my share to say about this topic in the appropriate thread. I don't personally agree with what he did and have said so many times. That doesn't mean he violated his own ethics or did anything wrong or cheate.

People who refer to others as "fanboi" are those who can't win their argument and have to, instead, assume that the person is just a blind follower of whatever person/cause you are arguing against. You should be cock slapped for using that statement.

I know what reasonable doubt is, do you? What exactly, are you refering to as reasonable doubt? The box topic you keep bringing up is very clear, he spoke about that particular topic and didn't apply it to others. He said clearly in that very thing you quoted that he did not feel that others who did not agree with him about boxes were "exploiters" or "cheaters" but that it felt wrong TO HIM.

So enough of trying to sound hip and with it. If you have anything to actually back up what you're saying, out with it. Personally I'd much rather have something negative to say about LFG, but I won't pretend the bullshit you're posting has any merit either. There's my morals

You bring up a good point, but in my opnion, logic does not always equal fun. I personally hate games where you need to eat every once in a while or else you die (except for fun ass games like Aventure Island.) Carrying 6 32-slot boxes is far from being realistic, but it's a factual liberty that the developers take to make our in-game experiences better.

/flame on, cause i know its coming... sigh.

I agree with LFG and I don't about boxes. It doesn't make a lot of sense that my zerker can carry over 1000 pounds before becoming encumbered. Couple hundred maybe, but that's it. Course part of the reason they did it was for harvesting (IMO). Because it takes so many raws to make things, people would be impacted negatively if they could only have a few stacks of things at a time.

A better solution would be to make harvested items have a higher stack number, thus needing less slots. But then again, could you really carry 500 leather pelts without succumbing to the weight?

So then the only solution is to make tradeskill recipes require less raws to make, which means a total revamp, which I am ethically against because it means SoE will fuck up the game for crafters for about 3 months to fix their fix. :p

So in the meantime, I like to pretend that all boxes are really magical and that the weight numbers are measurement units not really meaning pounds. Yah, so 1000 = 100 pounds. And so forth. Hey it makes me feel better.
