i've NEVER seen an inquiz wear leather. and the helm for warden was a significant upgrade for him.

all the groups/people i've rolled with before decline on class specific stuff they can't, don't, won't use...out of common courtesy.

is that not the norm?

Aye, but thats the rub, The helm wasn't class specific. Who's to say they don't use it, and who's to say they won't use it? And the inquisitor's gear left a lot to be desired too, maybe it was upgrade for them?

Anyway, haven't you heard? Pretty much all healers in RoK are supposed to wear leather according to priest itemization.

and inquiz/temp using leather....c'mon! you've looked at the toon...it wasn't an upgarade...and if it was.......

wouldn't it be the same as you claimed as me using the knuckles STR specced...

point was, and still is, hes was a dick for rolling on other classes gear in the group.

It could have been made more clear cut by the developers not being so damned lazy.
(Talonis, you might be right but I still don't think that merging the classes should make up for lazy devs.)

I am a templar and I roll on healer oriented leather as a screw you to Fyreflyte (or whatever her name is.) If there's a fury or warden in the group, I probably won't but still.

I dunno, I'd roll on leather if it was better than my set armor, but I've never found any leather that's better.

I gotta tell ya, I still can't figure out why healers are so opposed to wearing lesser types of armor. Had one in group the other night who wouldnt roll on a cloth piece even though it looked decent to the rest of us because "She aint wearin no fucking toilet paper". OK, whatever, i don't push the issue anymore. But as a scout, I don't hear any scouts bitching about how nice some of the leather pieces are. And frankly, we're a hell of a lot more likely to get hit than any healer. In fact, brawlers are bitching because we wanna roll on the leather too. The last thing I notice about a piece is what its made of. I'd wear 'fucking toilet paper' if it had more MC than whatever it was replacing. I think these obstinate healers are hurting themselves and their guilds.

Snarkq wears a cloth robe.

I personally am not a huge fan of plate healers wearing lower armor types. But, in a raid situation, 200 mitigation difference from wearing leather/chain rather than plate doesn't fucking matter. Situationally, stats / effects make much more of a difference than mitigation.

I think it's an obsession or compulsion or idiocy or assholery...these idiots who roll on stuff that they should pass on. I was grouped tonight with a wizzy who rolled on and won mishandled dirk when the assassin and dirge wanted it. And the same dirge rolled on and won the sword with taunting blow..... why?
