That shit is in the past, get the fuck over it. I haven't posted on SoE forums since I began posting here, and I assume most others haven't either.. so who really gives a fuck.

I still post over there on occasion. Usually when some noob retard is on there, like the recent rash of "No-Trade drops suck and should be done away with" and I like to go in there and bat them around for a while.

Hell with all the things I've been saying in the general forum, I'm surprised I got a "not-really-official" warning from StarryEyedBitch about a fairly tame post on the Nek forums.

I think that, true to it's name "Eq2flames.com" is all about whining and complaining. Unfortunately, there is only so much one can flame about regarding one game, so the same boring topics will come up time and time again.

It's a waste I think. I had hoped the purpose of this forum would be more frank discussion about real issues that tend to get nixed on the official forums, and I really don't see a whole lot of that. This site had a lot of potential.

Gotta agree with the above. I find myself back in the SOE forums discussing the game/nerfs/combat changes etc. when I actually thought I'd be doing that more here. THis site turned out to be the quite different than what I thought it would be that's for sure. The thing about flames forum is that it tends to kill meaningful dialogue. Instead of trying to work out a difference of opinion and come to a better understanding it resorts to name calling, threats, and (of course) flames. /shrug totally non-constructive in any way, so SOE forums will remain my main info source for the game. As for the SOE mods, I agree with the OP, thought the purpose of leaving the soe forums was for freedom and leaving that censored stuff so many people hate behind. Mods have to follow rules imposed on them by SOE, Im not sure why everyone takes what they do so personally. Except for a few closed/locked posts, I never gave the mods over there a second thought. /shrug again.
