I often think what many people have on their sigs on various sites are pathetic and stupid too (just not the kind mentioned here). However, I am sure there are people who may think the same of some of my sigs I've had in the past on different forums.

That being said, using the "I didn't have to read the signature, you don't have to read the thread" line doesn't really work. First off, a sig, no matter how big, is miniscule to the amount of space a thread takes up, and how much attention it gets, (even this one). Second, they serve two completely different purposes. If you post a thread with a header that caught somebody's eye, can you really chastise them for taking an interest in something you wrote, knowing they had to open the link to read it without knowing what they were getting into? That goes for the people giving negative replies as well. 4. New threads in this section *must* name the person being flamed in the title of the thread. No "general" posts are allowed in this section

Thank you Faabio... I had thought what I typed was enough of an explanation, but apparently it was only enough for the intelligent people.

I was exhausted and in a weird mood at the end of a very long shift at work, and was just looking to mess with people.

Besides, look how many people I got before somebody noticed, and probably would have kept going if some people were not so anal about stupid shit. Why do people always get mad when somebody necro-posts? I admit this thread wasn't the best to bring back (hence why I found it funny when people replied), but if it had been a good debate or topic, then who gives a flying fuck how old it is???
