I'd add an idiot wizzies that can't manage agro thread too, but anymore that's pretty much a given. Hence people with names like Deathnuker, Thenukerdude, Nukegod etc (I do appreciate them advertising their prediliction to being nuke happy though, makes it easier to avoid them!)

Really good tanks, or wizzies who can actually play their class, are ultra rare spawns, so it might just be easier if we simply started threads of who the good ones are--much shorter lists to maintain that way.

lol, if I've been solid raiding and nothing else for like 5 days even I sometimes forget and over nuke but then it's not generally a problem cos I know the tanks I play with very very well and know they can hold agro or at least rescue the mob back before it turns this squishy into a pile of ....well.... squish

However most of the time by the time you have pre-buffed, pre-cast, debuffed etc any tank worth a shit should have agro in the bag anyway.

We have some exceptional tanks on Kith, same goes for wizzies, unfortuantely we also have a large number of each who either have total amnesia when it comes to understanding their class or else bought their toon on Bazaar ;)

My comment truly wasn't directed at you. I just end up playing healers alot and have to listen to more idiot wizards whining at me for letting them die because they refuse to believe that over nuking pulls agro. Or the ones who know it pulls agro but they're just soooo impressed with the size of their ... nukes ...

I'm hardcore on wizzies who can't control agro because I've played the class in several games now and got schooled way back in EQ1 by healers who made it clear that their job is to keep the tank and crowd controllers up, not waste power on idiots who can't learn to play their classes. I figure if I can learn anyone can.

I guess good tanks and good wizzies are like Prince Charming, you got to go through alot of frogs to find them.

Too Frelling right it's a healers job to keep the tank up, if a wizzy goes down cos they over cooked it they have no one to blame but themselves, unless of course they are cursed by grouping with one of the afore mentioned shitty tanks
