I apologize ahead of time, since I didn't take the time to skim these 9 pages and the threads on the General forums are endless... But when one gets into a program such as LFG, are the NDA's signed agreements or just verbal? Are the e-lawyers just talking nonsense or are they really trying to crucify LFG?

NDAs are written, but only apply to specific information received in certain ways. The e-lawyers are talking nonsense in this situation.

Nonsense for the most part. There is a lot of conjecture one can make about NDA's in general, but there is no set standard so the armchair legal counsels are really just arm-waving without having seen the actual document itself (which is, from what I've read, a physical document).

I guess its just the age-old tradition that one good witch hunt deserves another.
